The only thing I didn't like about the grill was that Amazon ships it in it's retail packaging without any packing around it, I mean come on it has a glass lid, and the first one I received the box had a hole in it and the knob was smashed to bits, but the replacement came quickly and was also shipped in retail package, no box. As far as the grill goes, it's awesome, after initial clean and setup I lightly brushed the cooking surface with olive oil and it came up to 400 temp pretty fast, then I threw on a few batches of veggies and dogs and everything cooked fast and thoroughly, can't wait to try steaks on it. Little smoke but I was smart and used it outside, cleaning was a cinch but don't forget about the grease catch as it's kind of hidden in the base and easy to miss.

Bought the larger one some time back but it is too large for the two of us. This is just great, so far, and living up to expectations. It's all washable except the cord/control unit, and we put it in the dishwasher after wiping it off. So far, so good.

I was using a George Foreman grill but it never got hot enough and the plates kept falling off. Got this electric indoor grill and it has been wonderful. Heats very quickly, sears the meat, has a cover to keep smoke at bay, and easy clean up. Highly recommended and the 11" size is perfect for 2 people.

I just received this item and used it as soon as I could wash it and preheat it. I marinated chicken breasts in anticipation of receiving the grill. It is so easy to use. It's a perfect size and price. I wanted something simple to operate and easy to clean. It grilled my chicken perfectly then I took the grill piece when it cooled and put it in the dishwasher. It cleaned up beautifully. It's not bulky so I found a spot in the kitchen to store it because I plan on using it a lot. I do all the cooking and grilling and I was tired of running outside to the big gas grill while trying to do the inside cooking as well. I can grill in the winter now, too. It was entirely smokeless because of the water tray under the grill. I wish I had bought one of these sooner. The cord is a decent length, not like the really short ones, so you can move it away from the wall a little. There are just two of us so there is more than enough room for our needs, and plenty of room for more.

For the price, you could not ask for more. Great grill. The cover keeps the smoke at a minimum. Washes off easily. If you are used to a George Foreman Grill, it will take twice as long to cook food but since those are not really available anymore at the same quality of the original, the extra time is not a consideration for us.Very pleased with this item

I was impressed with this grill. The grilling surface is abundant. I’ve used it twice since the holidays. I grilled 7 salmon filets (see photo -before I flipped them over). They cooked up perfectly with fantastic grill marks. The pan washed up easily by hand and did not leave any scent behind. I used it to complete some ribs I had prepared in my pressure cooker. I finished them on the grill with bbq sauce, for caramelization. There were plenty of very cooked bits of sauce left behind, burnt drippings. I literally rinsed the griddle and with my dish gloved hand just pushed off those hard bits. The grill washed off very clean - no residue. The griddle, overall, is very lightweight. I found that to be very surprising. I like that is it large enough to hold enough food but still is easy to lift and put away. I’m a fan.*Also wanted to note - it clearly states to NOT use cooking spray on the griddle. Some reviewers posted negative comments about the griddle smoking after they used cooking spray. You need to lightly brush oil on certain foods before cooking. Do not use cooking spray! Also, it states you can put the plastic holder in the dishwasher - not the actual griddle. The griddle must get hand washed, as it has the electrical connector for the cord on it. Some reviewers complained the griddle rusted out by the connector after it was washed in the dishwasher. Do not put the griddle in the dishwasher. People complaining about this clearly did not read or comprehend the directions. I would not put any of the pieces in the dishwasher. They are super easy to hand wash and air dry. When I received the griddle, before washing or cooking, I plugged it in on high heat and let it heat up for several minutes, to get rid of any factory “scent”. After it cooled, I cleaned by hand. No weird odors or issues upon using the first time.

One word: Wow! I love this grill! It's a perfect size to cook an entire meal for two: veggies and a protein. And it cooks everything perfectly without hot spots--all even cooking.Nothing sticks to the grill, and it cleans easily, and the cooking plate is removable. It's dishwasher safe, although it's so easy to clean, why do it. The entire grill is waterproof.I've used this grill a few times and find it convenient, easy to use, easy to clean, and my food is cooked perfectly. No more greasy, difficult-to-clean barbecues for me. This is a keeper.This is my third Elite Gourmet small kitchen appliance. I find each one excellent.
