Exactly what I was looking for
I've been using fountain pens for more than ten years now, but I have always hesitated to carry one in my pocket because of the likelihood of it coming uncapped and leaking out. With this pen, I have no concerns. The body is a solid piece of Ti. No holes, no joints, looks like it was made from a cylindrical billet hollowed out on a lathe. The writing end has a similar quality, and again feels like it was machined on a lathe. The cap is the same. Where the body and the writing end screw together is an o-ring, which will certainly prevent the body from unscrewing unintentionally, and feels like it makes a good seal. The cap also has an o-ring, and it holds firmly to the body when capped. Spare o-rings were included in a very nice box. Overall the pen has a weighty feel, but isn't heavy. It feels great in the hand. The clip has been riding hooked to the front pocket of my jeans for a week with no bending or deforming. Again, it feels SOLID.I'm not a nib connoisseur, so I don't feel I could really give a fully informed evaluation of the nib. Sufficed to say, it worked perfectly for me out of the box, loaded with Noodler's American Eel Blue. I do feel it might not be as smooth as my Lamy EF nib with the same ink, but I can't do a side by side, and I'm still getting used to it.As advertised it came with a cartridge converter, and I had no issues loading it with ink.It certainly feels like a $100 pen to me. I'm extremely happy with the purchase, and would definitely buy it again if I had the need.

Another great pen from Big Idea Design
The construction of the pen is incredible and the feel of how it writes is great! I really love everything from Big Idea Design, but this pen might be my favorite. I will definitely grab another one.

Mixed feelings on EF nib
Great quality. With the cap posted, very comparable to a F Pilot vanishing point. Medium-dry flow. With platinum carbon black, it writes well on news paper crosswords. Lots of feedback/scratch not really great for longer writingEdit: I ended sending this back. The connection between the feed and international cartridges is pretty flimsy and leaks.

Another great BID pen. I have several and will probably get a couple more.

Very well-received gift
Very well-received gift - partner has several fountain pens and was impressed with the quality of this one. She now carries it daily. Lasts for a decent amount of time between refills and the weight makes it pleasant to write with.

terrible ink capacity but otherwise wonderful pen. love the snap cap and standard nib-section
Terribly small ink capacity but otherwise wonderful pen. particularly love that it uses a snap cap and standard nib-section. Happily using an FPR #5.5 EF nib in this pen, thanks to that standard Bock section.nice heft to the pen too. if it had a higher ink capacity I'd say the price would be worth it. otherwise, it feels a bit steep.

Leaks
It's a nice pen to hold, but if it stays tip down too long, for an extended writing session or just storing it that way, it leaks out the tip. I have fountain pens that cost a quarter of this and never had this problem. I'd stick with their ballpoints.
