Chonky sized Geodes, fill an adults hand, huge for kids.
Got these for my youngest as he wanted something chonky, they are about the size of a snowball for an adults hand. Loads of fun in them, and value for money, the colors have not disappointed

Impressive crystals
Quite difficult to open the rocks but very impressive once opened .. my 6yr old grandson loves it

Waste of time and money
Had to resort to a club hammer and wrecking bar to open them. Two wouldn't open and we broke the paving slabs and brick underneath we were hitting them so hard. The ones we opened were all the same the ones we could split were just rock!

Fun but disappointing
Rock and crystal loving daughter enjoyed breaking the geodes apart, but needed some help with most of them as only one was actually hollow. The others were solid crystal/rock. This a) made them very difficult to break apart and b) not as advertised. Was expecting the geodes shown in the advert, not solid crystal. Expensive for what it is, esp given only one was actually what we were expecting.

Great gift for young children
Huge hits with the kids and adults. We had to revert to a sledge hammer to crack them open though. The geodes were impressive and are proudly displayed in our son's bedroom.

It was fun but 3 of them were just a solid ball of quarts so had to basically destroy them to see the centre, the other 2 were hollow and amazing

Not as exciting as we thought…
Bought as a joint Christmas present for my three kids - one solid, one very dull stone and all white. Realise you can’t know what you’ll get, but we were a bit underwhelmed and disappointed, especially since it felt like a lot of money to spend.

We have only opened the smallest geode using the pointed end of the tool shown in the picture. He found it easy to open. However, we tried to open one of the larger ones, but it proved to be more challenging. I’m glad I bought the tools because using a hammer alone wouldn’t have worked well. We’re excited to open the rest of them. I did not find the process messy. Updated 3/16/26 One geode was solid. My son lost interest before I realized it was solid because he was not able to crack it open. I suggest if one seems too difficult, move on and return to it last. I still recommend this; it was a fun activity, plus the sparkly geodes are easy to display and make a great keepsake. Hope this is helpful!

Lots of fun. Excellent gift

Wir haben 5 große Geoden bekommen, 4 davon haben wir bereits geknackt. Eine war besonders groß (ausgestreckte Erwachsenenhand) und das ist bisher auf die Einzige, bei der es einen richtigen Hohlraum gab. Eine war gefüllt, die anderen hatten alle sehr große Kristalle. ACHTUNG beim Zerschlagen auf Pflastersteinen! Die Pflastersteine können Schaden nehmen, besonders wenn die Geode gefüllt ist. Mir gefällt außerdem die umweltschonende Pappverpackung. Ein tolles Geschenk für unsere Steinbegeisterte 10-jährige.
