WORX Cordless Chainsaw, 20V 10" 2-in-1 Pole Saw with Auto-Tension, WG323

I purchased the Worx WG323 cordless pole and chain saw because I had wanted an electric pole saw for quite some time. I have also owned Worx products for many years and have generally had good experiences with the brand. What made this model especially appealing was the ability to use the chainsaw independently or attach it to the telescoping pole when additional reach is needed.I have used it to cut dense vegetation that was too thick for handheld loppers or a standard manual saw, as well as fallen trees and larger branches after a recent storm. The overall size of the saw is practical, and the telescoping pole attachment is genuinely convenient when working on branches that would otherwise be difficult to reach safely from the ground.The cutting performance has been excellent. The chain is sharp and cuts through branches with ease, which makes the power of the unit stand out. The battery-powered design is also very convenient, and the battery has lasted well on a full charge based on the type and amount of cutting I have completed.The saw arrived already assembled, which I appreciated because I did not need to install the chain myself. I only needed to verify the chain tension before use and add the required bar and chain oil. The oil reservoir is positioned in an accessible location, making it easy to fill. The product does not include bar and chain oil, but the listing clearly states that it is sold separately.The telescoping pole provides useful adjustability and expands the range of work the saw can handle. The saw also functions well without the pole, making it more versatile than a dedicated pole saw. The overall appearance is well designed and consistent with the quality I have come to expect from Worx products.The weight is manageable when the saw is used independently. However, it becomes noticeably heavier when attached to the pole, particularly when the pole is fully extended or the saw is held overhead for an extended period. This is not a major flaw, but it does require attention and proper handling. Operator fatigue could become a safety concern if the tool is used carelessly, so taking breaks when needed and maintaining a secure grip are important. I have not experienced any major safety concerns when using it responsibly.So far, the quality and durability have been excellent. I have used the saw several times and have not experienced the chain loosening or any other performance issues. The unit arrived well packaged, matched the listing, and offers very good value for the price.Overall, this is a powerful and versatile saw for trimming dense vegetation, cutting storm-damaged branches, and handling other residential cutting projects. Have used it for over a year with no issues. Battery life is good and swapable and helps to maintain my yard. Would buy again

I had a couple of days of fun with this. I never used a chainsaw of any kind before but two trees fell across the public path behind the house and I needed to clear the path. We got estimates of $300 and $350 to have it done. I looked at this and convinced my wife we could save $100, and get the chainsaw, two extra batteries, and chain oil if we bought them. So I watched several YouTube clips on using a chainsaw and read all the captions in the manual, then set out to do it. I was impressed right away, it just melted the branches. One of the trees was more than 10” in diameter and that gave pause, but I read it could do a felled tree of 20”. Yes, I would say but with some caveats.I was impressed with:- the apparent quality and feel- the battery life (probably 30 minutes of continuous cutting)- the ease of useSome things I didn’t know that I had to learn:- the tree cannot be touching the ground where you are cutting. The blade must never cut into dirt or worse, so a couple of inches is probably minimum.- if you are wanting to cut a tree bigger than 10”, you need to have access to both sides, plus extra room on the bottom to get the bar underneath.- I didn’t realize there was a pull and push effect when cutting. The chain goes around the top from the saw, so when cutting down there is a little pull and when cutting from the bottom there is a little push against you. It’s not much, but I could see how it could throw you a little off balance if not prepared for it. So make sure to have secure footing before every cut.- always be mindful of the tension on the tree wherever you cut and adjust accordingly. There is potentially a tremendous power that can be unleashed if there is tension. Again, following the caution, always be prepared with secure footing, eye protection and a good grasp of the machine.I didn’t use the pole, but it seems sturdy. It is not that light on the pole (I tried putting it together). It looks like you could extend it longer but the cord limits how far it can extend. So maybe 12’ is it, I didn’t measure it. This is probably my biggest negative. The pole can give you a little extra, which is what I was thinking, so for me that is ok.All around, I would say it is fun to use if you read the warnings for safety. It seems to melt through the wood and something the would have taken an hour by hand can be done in a couple minutes with this. I think if I need to replace this down the road I would opt for a 16” bar, but I am very happy with this.

Exactly what I wanted. No cord to deal with. Have used it as a stand alone chain saw to split up a limb that fell. At least 20" in diameter... cut thru it like butter.

Its' a bit top heavy but that's a pole saw. (Also works without the pole!), and has a charge indicator. But blah blah blah, when this thing FINALLY at long last arrived, I was blowwwwn away with how well it worked. I asked way more of it than I had in mind when I ordered it. Thing just sucked itself right on through a branch every bit as thick as its' bar is long. (just in time for a downed branch that got hung up after a T-storm). I finally (and with the help of a ladder still, and this IS a long pole) got the job done. VERY good saw! And it still had over half power left when I got done fighting that monster of a branch. I only ever intended it for light work, but if you want something that does double duty - this is your ticket - just buy an extra battery if you intend to run it for a few hours. SURPRISING battery life for that tiny little pack with what it can chew through.

Haven't used the saw with the pole yet but I'm sure it will do good. Used the saw right away it had more then enough power for me to trim up some low branches at my in-laws. They have a lot of trees to trim. They are both in their 80ties and really can't do it. Actually looking forward to get more of them trimmed up. I have other worx tools that I love. Great Product!!

Works okay as regular chainsaw. Okay at best. There is lag upon pull of trigger, a decent amount of kickback while doing the undercut (although this doesn't happen while using the pole, I have yet to understand why), and the auto tension thing doesn't make it any easier. In fact, now I can't use the bar and chain from my old 10", which is really just stupid. Go back to how it was. Nobody likes it, especially when fixing the chain after coming off, which didn't take too long. Overall, as a regular chainsaw, it cuts predictably so long as it's not using the back side of the chain. I wouldn't cut down anything wider than 8" with it, as it doesn't have a whole lot of torque. Just take it easy and let the weight do the work.While using pole saw: It extends ok, feels like it wants to spring back when fully extended tho, which is annoying. I have to lock it as I hold it open. The lock mechanism to keep the saw on the pole is perfect though. Feels super secure. Another annoying part is switching to the polesaw as you have to keep both ends of the pole from touching dirt, which in this field (no pun intended) is all around you. Maybe a little tripod on one end would work? Idk, maybe it's at its best for that case. It's light even in pole saw mode. I am 130lbs at 5'10" and have plenty of strength to hold it up even fully extended while on a ladder, which I do not recommend for this reason...The bar is straight up and down from the pole. This makes cutting branches that are above you impossible because of the way the branch is supposed to fall. If it were angled I could make my bottom cut then top cut and have it fall straight down. However what happens is it falls where it wants to. I would recommend never using a ladder with this. Which bring me to my next point... At the proper angle. It doesn't have that much of a reach. It's not any more difficult to use a ladder and a normal chainsaw. I don't see myself using the pole much at all for this reason.The charger and battery are decent. The charger is nice and compact with programmed lights for anything it needs to tell you. The battery did not last as long the first time, even though I charged it all the way. It lasted as long as advertised since then. The battery level light is nice too.Overall, I don't hate it, but I don't love it. It will keep it til it breaks. Not being able to change my bar, however, really irritates me tho, and I'd never buy any saw like this again with the stupid auto tension thing. Not being able to change my bar also makes it to where I can't get it out with another bar if it gets stuck. Really on the edge for 2 stars, but for the price, it's not terrible.

After several windy days, I noticed a large tree in my backyard splitting and one side bearing down on the electrical line going to my house. It was just a matter of time before the powerline could break free; I'd lose power. I have many power and yard tools from Worx that I use, and that's why I looked at this one. The small, yet powerful chainsaw helped me get the job done. I ended up using this saw more to cut up big limbs into firewood. Without the pole. The saw itself can be used as just a chainsaw. Very useful. A great cost for something that can do many jobs itself. It does need to be oiled, but no gas or long cords needed. It uses the same battery that is used on all (most) other Worx tools. It did make that job that day easier to get done. I've already taken it out and used it on other projects since then.

Amazing little saw. Battery duration is great. What a game changer. Will not disappoint. This pole saw is absolutely brilliant for what it is intended for. Feel confident in this purchase.

Excelente, práctica, funcional, te ahorra mucho trabajo y tiempo en podar los árboles, la batería dura un poco pero creo que con un par extra tienes para trabajar por horas.

This thing works great! We are impressed at how well this unit cuts through high branches. Some quite large. Love how the chainsaw can be removed from the pole and used as a mini chainsaw on its own. Perfect! Would recommend.
