Air Lift89295 LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus Air Suspension Kit

Installed the bags and found a leak in the bushing where the 90 fitting goes into the bag. AIRLIFT, without question, IMMEDIATELY sent another half kit. This is my second set of bags. Great quality, easy instructions, and provides a more stable ride when I put a load on my truck.

I needed something for my 2012 Ram 3500 4x4 SRW because it felt like a boat once I loaded my 3000lb camper onto it. That's pretty much right at the payload capacity of the truck. My choices were either air springs or the Tork Lift Stableload product that preloads the stock leaf springs. I decided on air springs because the Stableload device looked more difficult to install, more difficult to adjust, and I liked the idea of adding actual support rather than asking the stock springs to support more than they were designed for. Plus, the Stableload device just seemed over priced for what it is.In researching air springs, the Airlift Ultimate Plus seemed to check all the boxes and have consistently good reviews. I bought the "Used, Very Good" Amazon offering which saved me about $100. The description said "Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged." Sure enough, there was a big hole in the side of the box that had been taped over. But all the parts were there, all sealed in their original bags, and there was no evidence that any of it had ever been installed. So that worked out good. They must have more than one with a damaged box, because the offering is still up. All I can say is it worked for me, it was brand new and everything was there.Installation was a bit tedious and time consuming, but there wasn't anything difficult about it. Lots of detailed instructions that you have to think about and scratch your head a little bit to see what they're getting at. But it's actually very straightforward, it's only the translation from paper to reality that's tedious. I did one side at a time, and after finishing the first side, the second side took me less than half as long because I knew how to do it. I removed each wheel to get better access, which is not in the instructions, but it made it a lot easier.The product fit good, it was obviously made for my truck. My B&W goose neck hitch created no issues for the air springs, it wasn't in the way at all.I put the schrader valves to the right of the license plate, there's a place for it that's just perfect for the job. The right side air line necessarily runs pretty close to the tailpipe, and they include a rudimentary little heat shield to protect it. I was able to route the line such that I have several inches clearance to the heat shield and tied it off with the included zip ties.It really helped with the handling of the truck when loaded up. Feels a lot safer. I should have done this years ago.

I put this kit on my 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 CTD. Let me start by saying the kit is high quality and parts appear to be long lasting. No concerns there at all. The instructions were very thorough and detailed enough to provide an easy and straight forward installation. I ordered the kit with stainless steel air lines, figuring this would be the better way to go long term with trouble free service. Once everything was installed and double checked for leaks, it was all set. Here is my only concern with this product...After sitting for a week, I notice the bags lose their air pressure. I double check for leaks on the air lines and can't find anything. I called Air Lift and find out there is an acceptable loss on a daily basis of about 2-4lbs. Therefore, if you are running 30 lbs and check it a week later, you could be back down to 10lbs. Now, every time I tow, I have to fill them back up again to the desired level. The only way to eliminate this is spend about a grand to get the onboard compressor. Not a deal breaker, but just another thing to mess with every time you tow. Keep that in mind before you purchase.

Upon opening the box it looks like that it was opened before and pieced together with different parts. Different airlines that were not supposed to be with this kit and missing airline fittings.

Bought these causeni haul campers and trailers with decent weight on them. It was easy installation and even easier use. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get rid of the squat issue.

Plain and simple, airbags for your truck to help level the loads. These are great for exactly that, they are not made to increase your payload capacity, but they do increase it slightly. They are intended to level your truck to ensure the proper alignment for your driveshaft and rear axle.Extremely easy to install, holds air for at least a day without no adjustment. I got these specifically because they have the bump stops in them, been running with no air for a while, no issues or concerns. Air them up only when I need them.

Simple installation, however some exhausts won’t clear the top right Air Lift bracket. The corner needs to be cut back slightly to clear, on both the top mounting plates.

DO NOT waste your money on this ultimate kit. What a joke for the extra money. It says military grade fittings. The swivel fitting in the top of the air bag failed after 4 months of light use through summer. It loses all my air pressure in the swivel part of the fitting. I ordered a kit on Amazon to replace the steel braided lines and put in new fittings but they wouldn’t fit. So now I have airbags that won’t hold air until I track down more of these crap swivel fittings. Also it says it’s military stainless steel. It’s not even stainless steel! This kit is a total lie and sub par quality parts. I have no air bags now and struggling to find parts. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ULTIMATE KIT!!

Easy enough to instal on my 2006 Ram 3500. All holes lined up.
