Is this game part if the FF7:Remake timeline, or a faithful retelling of the original games story?

This is a REMASTER of the 2005 Playstation Portable game, Crisis Core : Final Fantasy VII. It's a PREQUEL to BOTH OG FFVII AND FFVII-R. It is one component the "Compilation of Final Fantasy VII" that has been going on for 20+ years. It is 100% definitely important to play if you have completed Remake. It clarifies plot points from the Original Game, and it's necessary to understand the full impact of how REMAKE ends this time. Seriously. It's as important as FFVII: Advent Children COMPLETE.

Did anyone receive their preorder bonus code for the materia? its been two days still no code the customer server seems very confused...

Did not get mine yet either. They claimed the code gets emailed on the day its delivered... Well its delivered today. Still no code.

Does pre-ordering come with the steel book case?

All preorders were automatically upgraded to receive the steel book, per Square Enix themselves. It doesn't matter if it was Amazon, Best Buy or Square Enix Shop. If this has changed, it's false advertising.
