Worked out perfectly for my bonsai and several starter plants. My favorite part is being able to see if my plants are in need of water by just lifting them up from the ceramic pots.

I like the clear plastic pots so I can see what the plants' roots are doing.They are quite functional and, so far,holding up in terrible heat we are currently having. (Phoenix, AZ, USA.I don't have them in direct sun so can't comment on that.

Love that I can see what's going on in the soil. I think I'll try and find a set with multiple larger sizes because unless it's a small succulent or starter, your plants will quickly outgrow the smaller sizes.

These are very sturdy, and great quality for the price.

I finally got wise with my houseplants and following Krystal Duran/Plants with Krystal started placing my plants in semi opaque planters which fit in my cuter pots and plant vessels. Now when I water my plants I can clearly see how much water is penetrating the soil so that I am neither over, nor under watering. The cut outs work well for allowing extra liquid to pass through but not the soil. The various sizes were handy. I honestly could order two more of this package and I keep putting it back in my cart. I would definitely order again. Cheers!
