Handmaid Offred Cosplay Costume Outfit,Women Red Hooded Cape Cloak with White Bonnet for Halloween Party

UPDATE!: We wore these costumes twice for trick-or-treating and trunk-or-treating. These hold up against the cold wind almost like a windbreaker! We were not cold as we had regular clothes on underneath and when the wind picked up we’d put our hoods over the bonnet/wings and it helped a lot. We are even more impressed with these now that we’ve been able to truly test them out. We also had a lot of people asking to take pictures with the handmaids which was fun. We felt like local celebrities. We still highly recommend THIS costume. Do not be fooled by imitations made with cheap, dippy material and floppy bonnets that don’t keep shape. Our wings were wonderful and fit tightly the whole time. This is the one you want to go with!! The material is heavy and of good quality, the hat is sturdy and somewhat adjustable and I found the arms to be fine. Yes, it doesn’t close all the way down the sides but I think that’s an easy fix if it bothers you that much. I got one for me and one for my friend. I chose the L/XL for myself which fit me great with extra room if needed - I’m 5’7 and wear a Torrid 1/2. You can see a little of my dress sticking out on the sides of the costume, but I’ll be wearing all black underneath it and it’ll be at night so I’m not concerned about it. My friend is 5’3 and about 160 so the S/M was perfect for her. This costume does come quite wrinkled so I let them hang for a while thinking that would help but I ended up taking them to my local dry cleaner to get steamed. My friend and I are so excited to walk around this Halloween with our kids and saying as many quotes from the show as possible! “Blessed be the fruit” “Praise be.” “May the Lord open.” “Under his eye!” (Pictures are before we got them steamed after they hung for about a week). The cost is fantastic for this kind of quality so I highly recommend it!

I'm blown away at the quality of this Handmaid's costume for the price! The fabric is decent quality, it looks and feels like the fabric used by most restaurants for their tablecloths and napkins, to give you an idea. It hangs nice and is comfortable. Should be able to wash and iron. The costume consists of the red cloak, optional red sleeves to wear under the cloak, and the white brimmed bonnet. The cloak is full, snaps closed at the front, and is open on the sides, so it will fit most. You will need to wear something under the cloak...I'm only using the costume for protests, so I don't care about finding a matching dress to wear under it, especially when it's warm out. What you wear under will only show at the sides, but if you're looking for serious cosplay, you'll want a red dress to wear under it. I got the L/XL, and it is long but not ridiculously so. I am 5'3" in my bare feet, and the cloak touches the ground on me, but I can wear boots/shoes with a couple inches of a heel and it shouldn't drag. It would be easily hemmed shorter if needed. Will be no problem for taller people. The bonnet comes rolled, so there are no creases, and it is comfortable. Can't wait to wear!

Love it! Great material, perfect color. Bonnet arrives tightly rolled so be prepared to stretch it - i placed mine over several canning jars 🤷‍♀️😂 The only awkward part is trying to get your arms into the sleeves, which are attached at the nape of the cloak. It loses a star because the sleeves are WAY too tight and have no stretch

The costume is well made and roomy. Color is true to photo. I normally take a medium. The size I ordered is small/medium which was a generous fit. The headpiece is rolled, sturdy and maintains it's shape. Pleased with the quality and value.

I love this costume! However, the sizes are totally inaccurate. Normally I wear an XL, but had to order 3 sizes before getting the small-medium. The arms in all of them were too tight. The costume is durable and can easily be worn over warm clothes. The price was not too bad either. I believe it is overall, a very nice costume.

The costume was perfect for our Halloween cruise! I had to unroll the white bonnet way ahead of time. It comes very tightly wrapped which makes it very tight and hard to put on. Stretching it out ahead of time worked perfectly. The one piece dress/cloak took me a few minutes to figure out how to put on. Once I did, it fit well and was comfortable to wear. It comes very wrinkled, so plan ahead to have the time to steam it!

One of the snaps/fasteners on the front was missing. The costume was of pretty decent quality other than that. Be careful with sizing. I ordered a medium and it was at least 3 inches too long for my 5’3” height.

Many many compliments. Was exactly as shown and will use again next year.

Worth buying, not cheap material at all and for the S/M, mine came labelled M and fits to size(the arms are attached to the inside of cape so wouldn’t want them any tighter)…

The L/XL is way too big. There’s no shape to it. The slit up the side is way to long. Says it comes with a bonnet, I did not receive that in my order. I look like a wish version of little red riding hood. Waste of money especially when it is missing part of the costume.
