Got this for my son’s birthday. He was over the moon. Almost four months later, still drinks from it several times a week and has had no issues with it.

This stein is going to be my Ren Faire cup, the outer design is resin but nicely done!! Bonus with the inside, insulted, keeps the drink hot or cold depending.. holds a full drink very well! Sturdy and nice looking!!

The handle edges should be rounded. The sharp edges make it uncomfortable to hold. Where the plastic body mates to the steel insert is not sealed and lets water in when it is washed.

Really loving the look of this mug so far. Not sure what I could really say about drinking out of it however. The outer layer looks like it could be made out of resin and epoxy or something. I doubt this is an issue with all copies but mine had a faintly chemical smell to it fresh out the box. And I mean even after I gave it a good rinse with hot water. I'm hoping that will go away with time, and that the designs and print and whatnot doesn't fade away. But all in all, I've had coffee and beer out of this thing in equal measure. And although it has a funny smell to it, it's a very nice looking cup.
