I bought this for a trip to Hawaii, and despite having washed it a couple of times, the water had a strange chemical taste to for a few uses, but after that IT WENT AWAY. I like that I have the option of getting a quick sip by pinched the mouthpiece with my teeth, or twisting the mouthpiece to get full mouthfuls of water. It was extremely helpful to use this bottle on a place, refilling it after security, and whenever possible. I took it on a 3-hour walk through a jungle and the fact that it is practically weightless when empty and completely compresses when all the water is gone so it could be easily stowed is a huge bonus for me. I also like that, unlike a steel bottle, it doesn’t clank as you carry. Highly recommend, just have to get through the break-in phase of getting rid of the initial taste. I think adding citrus juice to the water at some point helped clean then taste out.

the bite valve or the nipple has two settings, u can bite on it to drink or u can slightly pull it up to get a stream of water (was very handy for washing my hands). the cap on the bite valve locks in place which keeps the valve clean. there was no leak when I firmly squeezed the bottle when it was full. I had hot water in it and had it in my sleeping bag with no issues.

I liked that this could be a bite top or stay open. I used it a few times and realized I did like it a lot. I bought another one and their large bladder. The seam on the side of this broke after relatively few uses.

My daughter takes a water bottle to school every day, and it is bulky in her backpack. I wanted to try this one out to see if it would be more manageable once empty at the end of the day. It was easy to clean (the top that screws on is completely removable), and I was able to fit a bottlebrush all the way in. The downside is that it is a little wobbly, even when full, and it is easy to imagine the top not getting screwed on all the way. On a traditional water bottle, that might not be that big of a deal, but with this when all of the water will get squeezed out if the lid is not on tight. I do appreciate that there is an additional protective cap on top of the screw on lid (see picture). She took it to school for the first time today, so we will soon know how well a third-grader caps her water!

First off this is the third bottle I bought like this, a collapsible, and this is the only one that didn't have that horrible plastic smell and taste. The other two brands I bought first one my dog won't even drink out of second brand still had that smell. This one does not. I washed it with warm soap water and it's been fine. I like that it fits a lot of water as I run and take this with me and my dog gets most of the water. She even tried to drink out of it when I squirt the water into her bowl lol. The nozzle is a bite down or you can turn it and it free flows which I like better. Great bottle!

Great idea, worked great for a couple days, sadly sprung a leak on a seam and had to toss it. Really wanted this to work.

I love to use this on runs. Easy to store in a sling bag while I run and light weight.

Air gets in there and makes it a bit of a drag to spend whatever time squeezing it out to get to the good stuff
