I love this stuff! I’ve used Rub n Buff for several years now. I redo furniture so this product is perfect for bringing new life to metal drawer handles, knobs & furniture feet. Once it’s on it stays on! As I have used it for my dresser drawer handles that get used every day for several years. And those handles still look perfect & beautiful. In the photos provided, I used Antique Gold on a table foot cap that was once shiny brass. I cleaned & lightly sanded the cap to smooth it out. Then I applied the Rub n Buff with a foam brush & then buffed it shiny. The other photos show vintage dresser drawer handles where I also used the Antique Gold on. What a difference! The product is simple to use on a variety of items, like metal, plastic, wood, etc. Just brush it one with a small artists paint brush, foam brush or your fingers. Then use a soft cloth to buff it to a shine. A little goes a long way so the tubes will last you quite a while!

Rub n buff arrived in a slightly padded brown envelope and the tubes were wrapped in plastic inside that. The way packages are handled and stacked in transit I felt fortunate that the rub n buff tubes were not mashed. As to the rub n buff itself, the tubes were normal sized for this product. I apply it with my finger for maximum control in application. I wear a moderately fitted, light weight rubber glove to apply it. It goes in very smoothly with those gloves on, and doesn't get on my hands. I am not sure that getting the petroleum based product on my hands is healthy so wearing the thin gloves is good for that too. ... The rub n buff gives a great look with very little product. I've never had any issue with durability of the product. It stays on and retains the soft glow of the product. I got the multi pack/ variety pack with bright gold, antique gold, silver and the dark. I like the thickness, application and look of all the colors, depending on where and how I am using it. I use it on various surfaces such as sealed wood, sealed canvas, metal and more as I do crafts for selling, and also small furniture and decor items upscaling.

Tried the gold paint on the metal drawer knobs and cabinet knobs about a month ago. Applied with an artist brush. So far, it is holding up very well on the hinges and the cabinet doors and drawer knobs that are used often. Such a little tube covers a lot of surface -- there's plenty left for more projects. I tried the silver paint on plastic curtain rings and it covered those nicely also. I had to remove it from some of the plastic rings -- it came off with just Spic'nSpan and a cleaning cloth. This paint was easy to use and cleaned up was easy.

Good Product. works fairly well with wood! used it on my trim in my kitchen. Havent had any transfer at all.

I enjoy using this product, it’s easy to use and looks good on where you put it.

These work so well on so many things. I used them to antique and patina some terracotta plant pots and it worked like a dream. I’ve used them on poster, metal, paper and they are so easy to use. Messy tho so make sure to use heavy gloves

This is very easy to apply, and a little bit goes a long way. What I really like about this product is that it is very forgiving. Unlike paint, this is easy to wipe off completely when you first apply it, or to use a little bit of elbow grease to get it to the desired look. We used the ebony to darken up a mirror that was painted gold. This gave it a bit of an antiqued look which was precisely what we were looking for. There is no smell that we noticed and this comes in a variety of colors. We will use this product more in the future as I can think of a variety of uses.
