I'm 5'0 and 159 lbs. I went for a medium and it fit really nice. I say try a large you can have some extra room without feeling stuffy. You want it to fit a little loose for easy movement . If the large doesn't work go up a size you can always easily return it for another one and get a refund ir exchange
