great value for the money
Way cheaper then buying in the store for me. Came in really fast and protected in the box so it did not get damaged. Its also a really big bottle. Tastes great

Delicious! Marinating Chinese pork ribs.
This Hoisin sauce is exactly the one needed to marinate pork ribs for oven roasting per the recipe in the Jim Lee's Chinese Cookbook, that I bought in the 1980's (and long out of print). 1/2 C. Hoisin sauce, 1/2 C. soy sauce, 1/2 C. cooking sherry, 3 minced garlic cloves & 3 tbs sugar. Cover ribs in sauce and marinate for 3 to 4 hrs. I'm gonna hang the riblets on butcher's hooks from the highest oven rack location, over a tray of 1/2" deep water sitting on the lowest rack and roast them at 375 degrees until the internal temp reaches 145 degrees. These ribs are larger than what I have used before, so a meat thermometer is necessary to make sure they are cooked thru. The pan of water keeps the drips from the oven floor and keeps the ribs from drying out. They are YUMMY!

Milder taste.
If you want to make stir fryer fried rice , vegetables or meat, chicken I like it better than regular soy sauce. It has a milder taste than the soy sauce. Also great if you have a wok.

Used for many years and still a favorite.
Good sauce but was delivered in box with two other items, no packing material and the cap was broken!

Quality housin
Nice and thick. Super umami. The best I have found for a great price. I use in lots of Asian recipes. Also a great condiment for lots of things, especially a burger sauce when mixed with barbecue sauce, catsup, gocugang, and vinegar.

Hoisin Sauce
Have been purchasing this brand as long as I can remember. Great flavor, blends nicely in soups and stir fry. Very intense, little goes a long way.
