I needed to replace my tired booster pack so i first watched the Project Farm review. My favorite from the PF review was "last year's model" of gooloo. Looking into the specs and the fact i live in a northern latitude where it's typically 0F or -18c when i need it, i picked this model that has an internal heater to warm the battery for jump starting in winter! The other big improvement with this model vs. others is how crazy fast it charges! At 125w, unless I've drained the battery dead using to run my air compressor or computer, it will be topped off with 15 minutes drive. I bought it when my main car battery was failing but it was under warranty and it took a couple weeks to get the store to understand the battery was shot even though it would pass the cold crank test because they would charge it immediately before testing! Anyhow i needed to use it daily for a couple weeks and then I've used a dozen times helping others. It's beyond powerful, i won't bother trying to find a different brand. The display is comically large but it's beautiful! Customer service is top tier! They stand by their product and are very responsive, reason alone to buy gooloo. They have a bunch of models you don't need to get the very best one especially if you have a small car and live in a warm climate. We were having temps of -10f or -23c when i bought mine and that was factored into why i bought the high end model. This unit is very well made, crazy solid construction, and you can sense the quality from the heft.

The GOOLOO GT3000 has saved me more than once in a pinch. With 3000A of peak current, it handles my truck without breaking a sweat — and it fires up fast even when the battery is completely dead. The clamps are sturdy, the safety protections (reverse polarity, overcharge) give real peace of mind, and the built-in LED flashlight is a nice bonus for those late-night situations. Compact enough to toss in the glove box, yet powerful enough for large gas and diesel engines — this thing just works. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants reliable jump-starting power on hand at all times.

So far I've used this more than a dozen times and its working great. It's doesn't have as much power and battery as the GP4000, but it's equal to or better than the GB40 and GB45X. Overall good jumper and price from a solid brand.

I bought the GT4000S because I have a Ford Excursion with the large 6.8L Ford that has sit in recent times because of surgeries. I inevitably forgot to unhook the battery and after many weeks of sitting, it runs the battery down. Most recently a door switch began acting poorly and caused the battery to drain quickly. 2 weeks post surgery and the battery read less than 3 volts on a DMM. Tried a traditional pack I have (Stanley MAXX 1000A) and it turned on the lights but never attempted to crank. The GT4000S however, was very easy to set up, with one connection to the unit and essentially two button pushes. Out of the box and to my surprise, it immediately turned over my engine and started my Excursion with little effort. Only took 3% from the batteries charge as well. The display is basic but gives pertinent information. The unit itself is ruggedly built and its features are pronounced. The USB-C connections will charge everything from a laptop to a phone with ease. It will vary the voltage based upon the need of what is being charged. For jump starting, it will not let you hook up the terminals incorrectly and will indicate to you that you have them incorrectly placed. It recharges quickly, but is limited in the USB-C to <50watts when not connected to a dedicated 100watt charger from GOOLOO, which more than doubles the 1.5 hours to over 3 hours from dead, but isn't a huge concern as I plug it in overnight after using it then place it back in my truck in the morning. Overall, I am impressed with this unit and cannot say enough about it. Its compact, comes with a charging cable (USB-C to USB-C) jumper cables, a carry case (nylon type of sack), and a hefty manual. Couple of tips, if it has trouble starting the car because the battery is drained to near zero, press the button once to put it in boost mode, and immediately start the vehicle. Invest in the hard case kit that is sold for them. Well worth it and ensures that screen is 100% protected.

This jump starter is GREAT! It’s slightly larger than others that I’ve seen, but that’s because it has 2-3 times the power of the others. It has started everything that I’ve used it on! I even use it to charge other power banks, because the fast charging cord that comes with it is amazing. It’ll recharge in minutes, not hours.

There is a version of this device that will pre-heat the device in extremely cold weather. Make sure that's what you get if you're in very cold places! This one does NOT have the heater and being in a car overnight in the 20s or below means it needs to warm up to about 50 before it will deliver full charge. Trying to jump with it before it warms up can damage the thing or it simply won't do anything at all. But, cold weather issues aside... it's a very good performer, jumps most anything the first time without any problems, even batteries that are so dead they won't even register as a circuit when the box is hooked up (digital display does not turn on to indicate it's detected a battery). For occasional use one will be good - just charge it up once very month or two (it'll loose less than 10% a month while in storage). If you use them daily like I do you'll want two or more. While very good they are very, very sensitive to overvoltage and will drop into safe mode very, very quickly and it takes upwards of 10 minutes before it'll reset itself. And they discharge relatively swiftly... 7 'dead' cars or 10 'weak' cars, at most, before they're below 20% charge where it'll begin to struggle. Type-C charger means it'll recharge *FAST* - about 90 minutes from 0 to 100% at a wall outlet with a decent outlet charger (20v min). 2+hrs with a standard car utility outlet (5v).

I’m very disappointed- I literally just got this to try on my dead battery. I hooked it up the positive to the red and the negative to the black. I turned it on by pressing the power button and saw 99% charged jumper box and ready for the other part - I pushed boost and the ready was still on but nothing else on the panel was shown. After about 2 minutes the jumper box started beeping like a truck backing up so I pressed the booster again and the beeping stopped. I tried to start the car and got nothing- so I then heard the beeping again and pushed the boost button and it held a steady ‘Ready’ like it was charging but I couldn’t tell because the panel didn’t show me anything other than the percentage the jumper box had a ready . Something must be wrong that I’m doing it I have an expensive bum unit. I brought it into the house to charge the jumper box and it shows 98% so I will leave it overnight to see if this helps it. I’m so darn bummed out that I think I got a lemon- anything with an LED panel that doesn’t work properly is because it’s probably a faulty unit. I am adding a couple of photos to prove how I had it connected. Let me know if I did something wrong please - I have a dead car in my garage which made me miss a dr appointment and I believe that the unit I purchased is a piece of junk - hopefully someone will see it in the photos and tell me if I didn’t use it correctly. I’m extremely frustrated and irritated because it doesn’t work and I missed a very important doctors appointment which took me 15 weeks out to secure the appointment. I’m definitely not happy plus I don’t have a printer to print a label to return it and without a car I certainly can’t drive to drop it off at a kohls besides the kohl’s has a very gang type atmosphere which people get robbed all the time- so I don’t want to take it there. I’m definitely not happy right now. I’m confused and I hope I did not purchase a $175.00 piece of absolute JUNK! JUNK JUNK JUNK AND THANKSGIVING IS TOMORROW SO I HAVE TO CANCLE GOING TO A FRIENDS HOUSE BECAUSE ITS TOO FAR TO WALK . I am definitely NOT HAPPY AT ALL.
