I used to buy salt from Eataly from there meat department to use for my everyday cooking and it was this exact salt. This is far more reasonable than the $20 pound of salt that I would purchase. The salt is a little wet and it’s course and it’s not meant for grinder. This is a great topping salt, great pasta salt and a great brining salt. I use the salt in conjunction with fresh herbs to top steaks and seafood. This is also really good on top of some sourdough bread when you bake it. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We love this stuff. Though we do prepare it for use, which we highly suggest. Our only gripe is that it isn’t fully dried. First thing we do is dry it further and sterilize — we spread it out on a cookie sheet and put it in the oven when we bake other things. Afterwards, the salt is then dry and lightweight. We place what fits into a little lidded container and the rest into an airtight bulk container - keep it sealed as it will collect moisture. We use the smaller container for easy access for cooking and seasoning at the table. We take pinches of the salt when we have our water throughout the day to stay mineralized. You can further reduce the grain size of the crystals if you use a salt grinder, and it easily grinds. We don’t really seem to grind ours down as these crystals are just right for nearly everything that we’ve encountered for use. It’s the right quantity for us as it fits our drying process well and stores well and easily.. This stuff functions well as an ingredient, as a medicine,

this is delicious, much better than any pink salt. I blend my salts for variety usually- however this stuff stands by itself. glad I stumbled upon it. I didnt want to go through the grater mill, so it comes out of a shaker. we use it on chocolate squares, salads, steaks, potatoes. I use it in my morning water... salted electrolyte mix. totally 5 stars.

Great salt to use and great price

Price was great but it is not good quality for a grinder.

Excellent fresh from the sea taste and coarse crunchy texture. I switched from trapani SOS sea salt which was also excellent however the sodium content was double compared to this. Highly highly recommend.

The salt is all white, no specks. It works so well you can tell it's unprocessed natural stuff. I immediately stocked up on it after I tried a pinch. It's been almost 15 yrs since I had seen a salt so raw, clean and unadulterated. We should not have to pay a premium for raw/wild stuff for it to be left the heck alone by humans. I'd much rather support ethnic stores or handmade (small) sellers and pick up everything I want from sources where mass manufacturing has not ruined the seed, dairy or salt.
