How easy can the globe be ripped off so I can add my own thing for Atlas to carry?

It looks like it would be pretty hard to do. The globe is attached to his hands so you’d have to somehow break it from his hands without damaging his hands - I think that’d be hard to do.

Can I buy just the lid? I accidentally broke my boyfriend's.
