Bad tolerances - too small, won't accept mate
UPDATE: I ordered a second set of these from this vendor and they have the same defect. ---- This review is for the 4-pin male M12 connector. Does not meet M12 connector specs. Inside diameter is 8.15mm. Spec is 8.3-8.45mm. Since it is too small, it will not accept its mate, if the mate is in-spec. Note, there are some mates that are out of spec as well and will fit in this connector. But committing to this undersized connector will make future purchases of mates hit-or-miss. DEFECTIVE In addition, the threads do not have a flat side or sides which would allow the hole in the chassis to have a similar flat spot. This there is nothing to prevent twisting motion from the cable to eventually cause the connector to unscrew from the chassis if the screw behind it loosens from use.
