Cantilever soles fix knees on flat feet. For old men.
This shoe makes me feel good. It's got memory foam insoles and cantilever soles. Basically the sole is good enough rubber that it feels good when standing. I wear steel toe on the job. These are for church. These are cheap. I expect them to wear out and I will buy More. These feel immediately good. They are not as high quality as the New balance cantilever soles shoes that cost twice as much. These seem to be man-made materials and don't breathe great. I plan to wear these all winter to and from work. I purchased a few pairs of these and the new balance. I purchased a couple of models of both brands because my son's uncle took him to the Nike outlet.First outing since coronavirus. I tried on a pair of Nike shoes and it was like British english tower of London torture device. I don't know how young you have to be to wear those things. Granted they were outlet priced at a bunch more money than these. The new balance store had a big line. I wore Avia basketball shoes in the late 80s. I have flat feet. Those were the best feeling shoes I ever had. Couldn't find them since the 90s. Then I wore whatever as I was very fit. Whenever I got older and out of shape I found out about cantilever soles at a professional fitting. Paid over a hundred bucks for the next best pair of shoes new balance 622. Which of course new balance discontinued. I limped along ok. I brought some 8 inch ankle brace rebook steel toe boots that felt ok. But whenever they wore out my whole body hurts. I purchased new rebok boots. Rubber steel toe boots. Durango boots, that got stolen last week. And I remembered cantilever soles. I intended to purchase new balance. I found these. A quarter or less the price. My knees, my back, and my head all felt immediately salved. Like I tried a bunch of other shoes. The memory foam insoles are supposed to wear out fast. These are good for walking. Not really a runner anymore but I don't think these are for that. There is a way to make arch support out of glycerin and silicone caulk I intended to try. But insoles alone won't do what these shoes do. The soles are wear the help is. If you're flat footed and your knee normally pronates or supponates these will be like having an attractive model to massage your knees. If you're a youngling, healthy as a horse and your arches are perfect then get cute shoes. This is old man gold here. Dammit I'm probably going to join the AARP with these shoes. If you're the ambitious type that walks ten miles a day, your shoes probably ought to be changed every month anyway. I don't expect these would look much worse than better more expensive shoes, but you'd probably need replacement insoles and because they don't breathe you'd need a boot drier to keep them from building odor. A boot drier makes up for a lot of issues.I love these shoes.

Comfy shoe but cheap shoe laces
I have a bunion and flat feet. These shoes give me plenty of room and are well payed. The only problem is the shoe laces are very cheap and too long.

Not what I expected
I work a job in a hardware store, on my feet nonstop, lifting heavy all shift. I understand that this is a shoe designed for "restaurant work", but I gave them a chance anyway. The arch support just isn't there. Very sticky soles, so they are definitely non-slip. I can only assume that these are appropriate for lots of walking around in a restaurant or cafeteria, but they do not hold up to rigorous carrying of heavy objects, or non stop walking on a hard floor. They are now my lawn care shoes. So they do still serve a purpose for me!

FINALLY! An extra wide shoe that is actually extra wide!
My son has small but wide feet. And autism, so he is very picky about how the cushion in his shoes is. He just started college, and with all the added walking, his old shoes were showing just how much they were not designed for walking.I ordered 4 different brands known for their wide shoes in his size, and the other three were painfully tight. The brand with the retired football guy on commercials saying how wide their shoes are was the tightest. My son couldn't even stand in them because they hurt so much. THESE were wide enough. No pressure on the sides of the feet, and no ordering up a size to get the correct width. For the first time in a long time, he has shoes that are the right length AND the right width. He also reports that they are great for walking around all day in, no more sore feet. We will stick with Avia for wide shoes!

Too short in length, size up
Excellent quality of shoes for restaurant workers, however I did return them because they fit a whole size Smaller, so with that said you should order them a size larger in my opinion. Good looking and well made.

Worked great until they didn’t
I am a retail store manager and I walk between 8000 and 13,000 steps a day . Initially, the shoes were quite comfortable and supported where needed. The normal shoes I get typically wear out in the soles and insoles first. This is the first time I’ve bought a pair of shoes that the material of the shoe split. And the insoles started separating from the exterior walls of the shoe. These shoes are only about two months old and on average, I get, a new pair of shoes every six months for work, it’ll cost me more to buy cheaper shoes if they’re gonna blow out every two months… I consider myself rougher on shoes than most. It might be worth someone getting them to save a dime. However, I will be going back to the brand I typically buy…

Good for 90 days
For the $40 I spent on these shoes I had low expectations. As a chef in a very busy multi story kitchen, I put my shoes through hell. Between wet and dry conditions and running up and down stairs all day, most shoes I’ve owned don’t make it 6 months. These lasted almost exactly 3. At this point the soles are starting to come away and the sides are splitting where the sole attaches to the shoe. I have accepted that I’ll have to shell out $40 every 3 months to replace my kitchen shoes as I have yet to find a pair at this price that lasts much longer. The good in this is that the shoes are very comfortable, fit to size, and provide a modicum of non-slip protection. I’m buying another pair to see if they fare better than the first, but from what people are saying here 3 months seems to be the lifespan of this shoe in a kitchen environment generally. I’d love it if the company could address the wear issues, as the shoe shows real potential otherwise. If they were more durable I would raise my rating to a 4.

Son unos tenis con una suela muy cómoda, que realmente no cansa mucho, el tamaño viene un poco reducido, para tenerlo en cuenta.
