I'm glad I didn't Still can't wait to have farm fresh strawberry powder, but this stuff is pretty awesome, and for a pound of freeze dried strawberry, it's a good buy. I see reviews of people having bad experiences, but I did not have that. People also questioned that it may not be 100% strawberry. I have no idea about that, but mine is delicious. I just wish they would bring it back, because it hasn’t been available for quite some time.

I've tried others and this is very palatable. Taste like strawberry! No awful aftertaste.I mixed with Almond milk and a couple of stevia in The raw. 😋It's very fine powder, not grainy at all. Finally a strawberry Powder I can enjoy.Update:Ok so don't judge the outcome LOL I made Strawberry Pizzelles for the first time ever. It was my first time making them to begin with. I need to tinker with the recipe, it was too thick and first time using the machine. I love to cook and bake so I'm looking forward to making them again very soon.I added this Strawberry Powder to the batter and 😋 MMMMmmmm so good! I almost ate them all LOL.I tried it without first then added the powder to a little batter to compared. I tried many different vendors of freeze dried strawberry powder, some from Brazil, Usa, and I have to assume china for this brand, since it isn't stated anywhere on package or in answers, the biggest negative for product. Herbaila on left, closest competitor on the right grown in calif. packaged in usa. In dish 1 tsp product + 1 tsp water, found Herbalia more body/color almost a thickener added or more natural body to strawberry mash, usa more watery slightly less color, both good flavor, intensity varied with batches for both. Brazil big disappointment very light on color and flavor. Herbalia granular powder notice how the pile spread out, other stayed in a pile as placed.

Made DELICIOUS pinwheel cookies for my cookie tray gifts this past Christmas. They looked wonderful, and tasted better than they looked! It was so much easier to use than smashing up dehydrated strawberries!!

Thought I could add to water for a water enhancer (light taste of strawberry). I do not recommend it as this does not taste good; tiny hint of strawberry and a lot of straw (or hay). I added 1 heaping tablespoon to 8 oz of filtered water. The expiration date stamped on the package is 3 years from now. Maybe this package is too old or was stored in heat. I will try it again with more powder, add sugar and let it sit in fridge overnight. Powdered milk is better after sitting in fridge overnight.

I bought this to make a Neapolitan cookie recipe and it was soooooooo amazing!! This strawberry powder is made from real strawberries and the flavor is out of this world. The price was also great for a whole pound of this magic!!
