Revant Replacement Lenses for Oakley Crankshaft

All in all they are replacement lenses that fit perfect in the Crankshaft frames. I did NOT get polarized because I hate it when looking at screens and other things despite there being a huze craze over it.I ordered the non polarized "stealth black" color hoping they would be very dark since black and not grey, and while they are very nice they arent ad black as I had hope as you can still see your eyes a tad. Regardless they are very nice and just about the same impact rating as Okaley, AND I could not find a decent pair of lenses that were black and not polarized anywhere else. Overall Im happy, just wish they were darker. I found some now that I remember that were less expensive and advertised only 4% light transmission instead of 8% like these, but they were going to take forever to get here.Regardless what I do I am keeping these lenses and in the frame for now. They are indeed very nice and snap in very snug. I almost could not get the second one in unless I followed the lense around the edge like you are really supposed to do anyway.I had a pair of Crankshafts 3 years ago that I loved and fit like no other but it seemed like the stock grey (which were a little lighter than these) lenses would always pop out with a very slight bump. These dont do that and they are darker. All in all a good purchase, but a little higher priced than others in the same catagory for Oakley Crankshaft sun glasses. I am very intrigued with the transitions as I use my Oakleys for shooting glasses as well, so Ill try those and leave another review.

One of the really nice things about Oakley sunglasses is that the lenses are extremely easy to replace and indeed the glasses are designed for this. Unfortunately, Oakley charges almost as much for replacement lenses as it costs to buy brand-new replacement glasses, making after-market lenses a must. I've tried several, and they are all good, but these Revants are the best I have found.Really good sunglass lenses have a certain "snap" and comfort to them that are hard to describe. Maui Jims always have this hard-to-define quality, to cite one example. These Revant lenses have that same hard-to-explain characteristic. These are as good, in my opinion, as OEM Oakley lenses.The polarization on these lenses is outstanding. I was in a high-glare situation this weekend, and these lenses provided remarkable relief from the glare, which is the purpose of polarization.If I have any longevity issues with these lenses I will update this review. For now, five stars.

I ordered these lenses based on a recommendation from a co-worker. The price point was perfect for me compared to the original manufacturer. My old lenses were pretty worse for wear, so needless to say, I was pretty excited to get my new lenses. They arrived fairly quickly, and I immediately installed them. Unfortunately, the lenses did not fit. At this point, I reached out to customer service. I got a response in less than 24 hours. After some minor confirmation of the types of frames I had, they sent out replacement lenses immediately, no questions asked. Within a few days, I received my replacement lenses. Again, I tried to install these lenses into my frames. Again, they did not fit. I reply to my last email with customer and let them know that these lenses don’t fit either. Again, I get a prompt reply, letting me know that they are sending me another set of replacement lenses, again, no questions asked. I just received my third set of lenses, and am very pleased to say that these lenses do fit. I can not say enough about this company, and their customer service team. And the quality of the lenses are next to none! Highly recommended.

I love my Oakleys but not enough to drop 100 on their brand replacement lenses so I use Revant. Revant lenses, in my honest opinion as someone who uses my glasses for hunting, climbing, running, and coaching, are better than the Oakley originals. The polarization is better with as many if not more color options. My only beef with this particular order was getting the lenses in, you do have to push hard and carefully

Dollar store glasses quality. Should be 5 bucks. Like they work and block sun. Make sure only to buy the black lenses the colored ones are hard to look through.
