Ashley Furniture Signature Design - Martinsburg Sofa - Traditional Couch - Meadow with Brown Base

I purchased the cocoa color because its slight light brown (like cocoa) and the darker wood would match better with my white walls. It came in exactly as described and showed in the default images from Ashley. The wooden frame does give it an elegance and stands out as high quality in the living room. Will be picking up the matching single seat version later on.Main reason I bought it? Besides looking great? The seat cushions can be pulled out and replaced if worn out. The back cushions, are part of the unit itself and cannot be taken out since its part of the back. My previous leather cushions constantly ripped in the seating area, since they were tightly made with very little flexibility, which means I had to deal with it, or buy a new set since the unit was a one piece.I also decided to go for a more warmer fabric look. Its perfect with my wooden blinds, floors, coffee table and wood. Firm feeling, and it bends when you sit, like a typical fabric/cotton seating. It seems well built, solid and looks great. Have zero complaints. Seems easy to clean, like most fabric, and like fabric, spilled water etc will be absorbed. I can tell that the cushions will not have the same crease effect that my old lather couch had when sitting in.When the unit came in, I only had to remove the temp feet and screw in the wooden feet on all 4 sections. I have direct access to the street but found it easier to remove all the plastics, covering and wrapping around the couch first and than bring it in, since the padding creates more of a bulk, which makes it harder to go threw a regular door with a very tight squeeze. The delivery people had issues trying to nudge it in a regular sized door (medium to large). Once inside, we figured out the padding should come off first before.Just a tip, if you have the same issues. Just ask them to unwrap it outside and try again. You should be able to fit in like normal by angling and slowly moving in. Unwrapping it outside removes most the bulk and way more easier to go threw a door.Its slighly higher off the ground than most couches, allows a roomba vac to go under it by itself without hitting the frame. You can also stick a dust mop/broom under it and pull/wipe in and out. Its' nice to have the space to clean without moving the whole couch to clean under it.

average quality. Short seat.

Beautiful sofa, incredibly soft to the touch and gorgeous to look at. Color is much as shown in the Amazon product description photo; more a light taupe or mushroom than gray. A perfect neutral that would work in nearly any room. The style is certainly a little more traditional than would work in a contemporary setting, but if you are into the "Game of Thrones" look, it's a wonderful piece. Arrived heavily packaged in thick padding and plastic covering, very well-secured. Took a little time to get it unpacked from this, but for the price I am certainly not going to complain ($596.00).The only caveat is that the seat depth is perhaps a couple of inches narrower than the previous sofa, but I'm not a large person so that did not bother me. If someone was looking for a very large couch or sofa, this would not be the best choice, as it is more of a medium-sized piece of furniture.Overall, I am incredibly pleased with the sofa and can't say enough about it. It's stunning.

The Ashley chair with the split leg and misplaced drill holes was the first annoyance. The Ashley table with the broken foot was worse, but this couch, that I've been waiting for weeks now, and was so excited to get, was the limit.EVERYTHING that I bought from Ashley, was damaged apparently when it was packaged up at the factory. The packaging was excellent. The quality of the furniture inside was crap. Sent this back. I'm commited to this couch now, so the replacement better be okay, but I will never buy Ashley again.

Beautiful sofa, comfortable, great support. Excellent quality. It is an extra large sofa and has a rounded back, so be sure to check the size of your doorways to make sure you can get it in.

Darker than expected.

Overall the sofa feels cheap. The cushions are nice to sit, but the brown paneling what we see outside is NOT wood, they are just fiber / plastic plates which are colored and comes off /breaks easily. I expected a better quality product from Ashley, but this feels cheap. Not worth the price.
