I have two 5 foot tall plants in very large (heavy) containers I put out in good weather on my balcony. The problem was that in strong storms with high winds they got blown over, making a mess, and due to their weight (especially when wet), it was really hard to get them upright again and in their containers. I strapped three of these cords at different levels around my wrought iron balcony railing and the pots at three levels. I tried moving the pots and they aren't going ANYWHERE unless maybe we had 80-100 mph winds, in which case I might not be around to enjoy them anyway! :pI am so glad to have solved this problem. Having to try and drag two heavy pots up next to my balcony wall to protect them every time we had a bad storm was killing my back. These will take heat or cold and are of excellent quality.

This is a super heavy duty bungee cord. The best I have come across. Wow. I was surprised when I got the package which weighed about 5 lbs. These are a set of humdingers.Quality throughout. I am going to put some tubing around the metal hooks to minimize rusting if such becomes the case. But these are great.My only caveat is do not let one end of the cord slip on you.. These are powerful cords and the backlash will be powerful.

Make sure you hook what you're grabbing for with these bad boys, if one of these slips and hits you in the face you going to remember the power of Bungee for quite some time.

Solid bungee cord for what I needed, for often times the cords made stretch to proverbial infinity to the point of wearing out easy and subject to breaking so they would lack the inherent strength or durability function, not this one.I needed for rather heavy sporting equipment and this one did the trick along with a a few other extras, so yes, I would recommend.

I have an old, old bed and the frame is not quite "standard". The box spring was always slipping off the frame. Came across a vague comment on an internet forum from a user who solved the same problem with bungee cords. Now I would not recommend this solution to just anyone. Getting these cords onto the frame was hard. Probably, it was dangerous. But it worked, and I don't have to tip-toe around the bed anymore. These bungee cords are STRONG. Heavy duty? Yes indeed! Flimsy? NO WAY.

Good sturdy bungee cords. I use them for keeping stuff in my bicycle basket for my bicycle commute to work. Nice to have a bunch of long ones, instead of one of those "assortment" bags where you only get one long one and a bunch of short ones.

These are super, super heavy duty... I was very pleasantly surprised. Realistic max stretch is out to 60", and the elasticity is very strong. Hook ends are rounded - nothing sharp that could damage anything or cut your fingers.Overall, I'm thrilled. Got these to cinch covers on a small grill and a table/chair set located on a 32nd floor high rise balcony where the wind really whips... so far so good! Expecting these to last for quite awhile.

Good value, seem to be high quality, this type are much better in every way compared to the typical differently colored cords, I’ve had these before and they hold up and last forever, well, I do have some that are nearly 20 years old.
