Exactly what we needed
We travel quite a bit and every time we go on a plane we try to introduce new toys as much as possible in order to keep my toddler entertained during the flight. We had used other brand mess free coloring boards but they can be pricey. The quality and price for these seemed very fair. My toddler loves it and was entertained for quite a while. The one con did I find was the pen. You fill it with water and it does it's thing, but I find the design difficult to use for small children and the tip can easily come off. That's why I had to knock a star off of it. He does prefer the water brushes instead. Other than that, definitely recommend.

Just add water!!
These have been the best for toddlers. Keeps them involved. The pages are sturdy; colors vibrant. Perfect to occupy little ones while traveling. Best part, once they dry they can be used again!

Water marker doesn’t flow easily, finish coming off
Water marker doesn’t flow well so we switched to paintbrush. After one use, the finish is wearing off. What a waste!

Pens aren't great
Pens weren't great, they were really stiff and scratched the boards. Had my son use a paint brush with water bc the book is great.

Pens aren't good
The actual books are fine. But then pens run out of water instantly, the screw on backwards and we never remember and inevitably end up tightening it really tight instead and then can't open it. Not great for kids trying to figure this out.

The locking feature keeping the pens together after the water was filled fid not stay on

Pens Leak
The books are cute and dry quickly but the markers drip water out of the point. Thought I could travel with these but I don't think I will.
