Is this handle compatible with my Daiwa BG reel? Which size do I need?

Yes, direct plug & play for Daiwa BG series. Choose exact size: 1500–3000, 3500–4000, 6500–8000, etc. Wrong size may damage threads. Not for KastKing or Sweepfire. Confirm BG size before purchase.

How easy is installation? Do I need tools?

Extremely easy plug & play! Unscrew original handle (counterclockwise) and screw on new GOMEXUS handle—10–20 seconds, no tools needed. Japanese NMB bearings pre-installed for smooth operation.

What are the benefits over the stock Daiwa BG T-handle?

Longer aluminum handle provides more torque and leverage for fighting big fish with less effort. Large round knob offers comfortable, non-slip grip that reduces hand fatigue—ideal for long sessions or wet conditions.

Is it durable for saltwater use on Daiwa BG reels?

Yes, made of corrosion-resistant aluminum with Japanese NMB bearings and stainless steel components. Users report excellent durability and smooth performance in surf/inshore saltwater with minimal wear. Lightweight yet solid.

Soooooo smooth!

Yes, this handle is expensive! But after my buddy raved about his new Penn reel and especially the ball handle and how much better it felt, I figured I’d give it a try for my prized Daiwa BG MQ 2500 reel. And it did not disappoint! It looks fantastic and very complimentary of the actual reel itself. It looks well-made, turns super smoothly, and while I haven’t caught a monster fish on it yet, it’s definitely got a solid feel and grip to it. Does the Daiwa BG MQ 2500 need this handle? Absolutely not! But will this handle make a difference in the feel and handling of the reel? I absolutely believe so! So much so, that I bought one for my Daiwa BG 2500 too, and it too looks and feels awesome, and compliments the black and gold design of the reel! 😉 So yes, it’s expensive but definitely worth it!

Smooth Upgrade for My Reel

This power handle was easy to install and feels great when reeling in fish. It’s comfortable to grip, looks high quality, and makes the reel feel even better. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade if you’re looking for a stronger, more comfortable handle.

Bought a second great quality

I had my doubts but this product is very nice. First time out with it caught 7 fish, not that the handle is lucky I’m just a bad ass fisherman (lol) but for real the quality is great and durable. I bought it for one of my BG 4000 saltwater rigs and ordered a second for my other right away. Trust me you won’t be disappointed and fits my reel like a glove. Try it you will fill the same. Color match was perfect also if you know BG.. Thanks great product.

Good buy , very smooth bearings !

Very nice , I’d recommend unscrewing the knob and adding some grease inside where screw is . It is o ringed so the grease wont come out and will supply lubrication for the life of handle ! Looks very cool !!

Great replacement, better than the original.

Love it for saltwater fishing. It is a lot more comfortable reeling versus the stock Daiwa handle. Fit perfectly and matched perfect!

Gomexus Power

Very popular Daiwa gomexus handle, may look big on a 2500 size reel but I definitely like it for the ball grip and easier for fighting fish from structure
