SturbridgeCountry Rag Rug in Sage 30" x 50"

I ordered this for my new kitchen. The post office messed up delivery, twice telling me they didn't have it although the tracking info said they did. I contacted the company, and this great guy reshipped immediately, saying the first shipment would get back to them eventually. Then the post office found the original shipment! (Lots of trouble with them lately, but that's another review ;~) ) I ended up returning the second shipment.So, even though the rug was gorgeous, the color didn't work as well as I'd hoped for my kitchen, although it was very close to what I saw on my monitor. I liked it well enough to keep for another use, and based on the quality and customer service, I ordered this size and a smaller one in the Honey color. Perfection! They look great in my kitchen.One little thing bothered me, and that was the direction to surface clean only -- not a good quality for a kitchen rug --and to expect dye transfer. Before I ordered the Honey, I experimented by running the green rug through the washer and dryer. It came through the process well, actually got "thicker," which I like, so I put in the second order. I realize machine washing may shorten the life of the rug, but I'd rather have it clean.When the Honey color came and looked so good, I let their customer service know that everything had worked out and how happy I was. I got a very friendly reply. All in all, this was a great experience, except for the Post Office's "contribution." I'm actually trying to figure out where I can use the Denim color -- it looks so lush! I would order from this company again in a heartbeat and strongly recommend them and their rugs.

This is a "country style" woven "rag rug". I got two different ones and the colors are attractive and complementary to my furniture. The rug works well inside the doorway of my house to remove dirt and dust from shoes. It is easy to wash in the machine and light enough to handle even wet. I hang it out to dry because I think it might not last well with frequent dryer use. So far, it is holding up very well, even with numerous washings.

Very Large, Very Heavy, GREAT Quality, GREAT Price; I have had many of these rugs over the years (including Amish Made), but never one this well made and this durable - at first I thought the price was a bit high, but after receiving the rug, I feel like it was worth every penny!!! Excellent - Definitely Recommend!!

Just remodeled my kitchen, and these rugs look great on my new floors and coordinate with my new marble counters. They do need rug pads as all rag rugs on hardwood floors do. Just love the colors in these rugs. Great customer service. I received them a week before quoted delivery date.

Really nice casual rug, that is thick enough to give some protection to area where I get out of bed (to protect primary carpeting).

The colors are perfect. The rugs are a nice size. I will admit I have not washed them yet. I am afraid the colors might dull. I don't know that for sure until I do put them in the laundry. Fingers crossed.

I love this rug, it looks great in my kitchen and seems durable and easy to clean. I have it in my kitchen in front of the stove to protect my new tile floor from any grease splatters. The color is a little more vivid than it looks on my monitor, but to me it actually looks better in real life than it does on the screen. Very pleased with this purchase.

I bought this rug because it didn't have any kind of rubber or latex backing. My new vinyl tile tile will discolor with either latex or rubber. The web site advised a rug pad be used because it could fade. The actual rug tag, when I received it, said a rug pad was highly advised because the rug contained a high concentration of dye! My understanding is that fading means the sun will take color away, the warning on the tag means there is so much dye in the rug, that it can stain whatever is under it. I couldn't risk that on my expensive new floor! I don't think the description on the website is accurate.Also the rug was very musty smelling, and the smell did not dissipate after being out of the box.Just took rug with return shipping label to post office, $16.35 to return a $21.00 rug! Needless to say, I still have a rug I can't use! Won't be shopping here again!
