6-Cup Glass Blender Jar&Jar lid,Compatible with Oster Classic Series OSTERIZER GALAXIE BLENDER/CHOPPER(Grass, 6 cups round Jar)

Originally my blender came with a plastic blending container which wore out over 30 years. The blender still works great so I sought a replacement container. My thought were that I would find something that would work but not like an original manufacturer part.Well, this glass container works great, fits perfectly and now I can use my blender for many more years.

We needed a blender because we wanted to start making smoothies., So we looked around our house, and discovered we had a "35 year old Oster Classic Series OSTERIZER GALAXIE BLENDER/CHOPPER" just like the one on Amazon, sitting in our closet, but it had a plastic jar/pitcher and we felt that if it were glass it would be more sanitary, and we could put it in our dishwasher. This is an absolutely a perfect replacement. All the parts fit perfectly and the glass 5 cup square Jar works great on our old blender, which amazingly works perfectly. We also ordered a kit that included 4 rubber gaskets, 1, 6 blade and 1, 4 blade mixers, as well as the stem that fits into the top of the blender and the bottom of the blade. All was a great experience, and the delivery was perfect.

Just keep in mind it does not include the blades so good thing my girlfriend had kept the previous blender's blades.

Had been so sad that I broke the glass blender container and searched for a replacement. The first one I received from a different vendor was a complete disappointment. I thought I might not find what I needed so I went out and bought another blender to make my Slim Fast drinks in, but didn’t think t could replace my Osterizer. Along with my food processor, I should have been happy, but I kept looking. When I read about this one, I was so in hopes that it would do the job, so despite the price, I ordered it. It came today, I put it together and it works like brand new! I paid attention to the measurements in the offer, ordered the right one and I am now a very happy 87 year old homemaker!
