great helmet. sizing runs small
great helmet. built in sunshade, built in anti fogging compatibility, modular. sizing runs alittle small and I am limited in what helmets I can buy due to a large head. previously had a hjc that fit beautifully but this is snug. the more I wear it the better it feels so maybe it conforms to your head over time. installed my wireless intercom no problems. camera mount on the front..perfect shape matched mount perfectly. Highly recommend

Super comfortable. Good looking
For the money this is a very nice helmet. The pin lock anti fog system works well. I did purchase the pin lock shield separately and it is a must for cold weather. Sunvisor shield works well and deploy’s easily. Do recommend

Nice helmet but they are smaller than advertised, buy a size up if want it to fit

Good Helmet - Odd Head
I hope these photos give you a better idea of my review. Considering the graphic details, the 3X helmet is a tight fit for my whatever-you-want-to-call-it oval head.I have done as recommended and worn the helmet for an extended time (1.5hr yesterday and 1hr today) and it seems to be giving in to the unyielding hard skull of mine. A bit of frontal pain after yesterday's trial seems to be fading this morning. The helmet is, as expected, on the heavy side, weighing in at 3lb 14oz according to my kitchen scale. But considering how well built it is, the modular advantage when you feel like spitting that excess tobacco chew, and its internal dark shield... This IS a lot of helmet. BTW, the internal sun shield is activated from the very top of the helmet, not on the side as others have it. This is so to allow for internal Bluetooth speakers at ear level. The pins for the Anti-Fog Pinlock Insert are there but if interested will have to order additionally; since mine didn't bring them I'll assume it is an additional cost item. The helmet I received was someone else's returned item. I did not mind because it was clean and fresh smelling, no signs of wear other than the obvious opened box giveaway. It is not easy to find a good fitting helmet. I know. I spent hours at the local CG store and could not find anything even tripling what this one cost. It has not been on the road yet but it will soon. I think I'm giving up on my search and keeping this one. I'll let you know how that goes.Oh, and I did not receive anything from seller or manufacturer or anybody else in exchange for this review. It is just my most honest review.

Great product
Great quality. Only complaint i have is the sizing is off. I used the sizing chart on the product sight and my helmet fits but is way to tight. I would recommend going one size up from whatever the sizing chart says you should get.

All thing described are true.
Helmet came nicely packaged within a bag then in a box.I like the design and all padding felt firm. I was able to direct my comm wires around the detachable paddings without cutting, and has ear recesses for the speakers already. This also has glasses guides if you wear eyeglasses.D link harness is better secure than rachet type.Inner sun visor works without hitting my eyeglasses and not too tinted to use in dusk or dawn.Sizing is off but this is true for all modular helmets. My sizing called for upper edge of medium, but I ordered XXL and it fitted. Head shapes has to be considered when Sizing but definitely go at least 2 sizes up from full face helmet size when ordering on modular helmets.

Large is not a true large. Sizing is crap on this thing. (Updated 6-16-23)
Getting a bit frustrated with their sizing chart and this model helmet.I have owned many HJC helmets and have always worn a large from them. Before I ordered this one I checked their sizing chart to be sure it would fit and my head is just under 22 1/2 inches or 57cm.According to their sizing chart that's a medium not a larg.So I ordered a medium. It was so tight I could not wear it. I could hardly even get it on.So I ordered a large like I usually wear. It just came in and almost as tight as the medium. Like it's so tight I can't even get the thing closed without forcing it and then I feel like my head is in a vice!I know new helmets are a little tight until they break in but this thing is way to tight! Now I need to order an XL since I have 2 helmets sitting here that don't fit even tho HJCs size chart says they should. My current HJC helmet is a large and fits me fine. And it was never this tight!!!Not sure why this model seems to not run in line with the rest of their helmets but I went to a local shop and tried on several helmets from HJC and all of the larges fit me just fine. But this one is very tight compared to thos other models. They did not have any of this model helmet in stock. Or I probably would have bought one from them since I was already there.Frustrated that I have to send back yet another helmet even though I did what I was supposed to do and went by the size chart they provided.Update: This helmet SUCKS!!!!!I went ahead and ordered the XL version of this helmet, and the XL is a true XL! Its flopping around on my head. Its way to big, but this Large is too small. At this point I am stuck with this thing and I cant wear it as its too tight and is NOT a true large size.I found out its the same shell as the Medium, just different foam inserts in it.Well that's carp! That is NOT how my past HJC helmets have been and honestly not what I expected. If you cant try it on in a store, do NOT buy this thing unless you are ready to return it.UPDATE 2 (6-16-23)So I put a basket ball in the helmet and then inflated it and let it sit for like 2 weeks. This made it so that I could at least wear the thing. I did not fully inflate the ball, rather I put just enough pressure in it to force the foam to compress a little. But I could still open and close the helmet without any problems. Afte5r week 1 I added a little more pressure to it and let is sit for another week. Its still tight, and still presses on my jaw to much for my liking but I can at least wear the thing.I was stuck with it, so I did this to try make it so I could at least use it.Well I just took a trip with this thing (1,600 miles) and I have decided I don't care what it costs me I am replacing this thing! Its still uncomfortable. Its still loud.It still has poor ventilation. And on top of all of that, it leaks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I road in the rain for the first time with it and the thing leaks really bad. It was raining in my helmet as much as out side of it! Water would pool at the face shield and I would need to open it every few minutes to get that water out of my helmet.Over all I am very disappointed in this helmet.I have always loved HJC, but they dropped the ball on this one big time!I gave this thing every chance, and id everything I could to make it work. The sizing is crap if your a large, and build quality is crap as well. This is one of, if not the worst helmet I have ever owned in more than 30 years of riding.I suspect they only used 2 shell sizes rather than the typical 3 sizes. This means if you have a small head or a very large one, this will likely fit you well. But for those of us in the middle, we get screwed as the helmet is either to small, or to big.
