Easy to use hard plastic sharps container. The lid has a turn to open/close hole in it, and it's lockable by aligning the arrows. I needed a sharps container when my husband was prescribed a medication he has to take via injection every other week. I wasn't sure what size I needed. I chose 2 qt. without understanding what that meant, but it seemed like a "medium" size when I compared it to other options, and I chose this one because it's a single container, not a pack of 2 or more. Good size for my needs. Fits probably 10-12 used cartridges, I'd guess. I only have 4 in it now with a lot of room still. How to dispose of it not specified. Only that I should lock the lid when I'm finished with the container by aligning the arrows on the lid.

Hubby is diabetic and we were getting the sharps containers from the drug store AND sending off when full...this has saved us some $$. Pretty sturdy and quality.

Perfect size, fits in the place that I need it to go, and holds just the right amount for my usage.

It's a sharps container, it works, it has a nice large opening that lets you insert larger sharps like the injector pens for GLP-1 drugs or used CGM sensors. Sadly, it's just a little too small for some injector pens; they pile up awkwardly, leaving a lot of wasted space. If it were just an inch wider, it'd be nearly perfect. Note the large opening is a boon for inserting larger devices, but means it's easier for a curious kid to shake sharps back out of the container. I wouldn't recommend it for homes with small children. As with most sharps containers, the only "securely closed" position for the lid is permanent: you can't reopen it once you close it all the way.
