is the dark blue pitcher 10 cups or 5 cups? the advertisement lists both. it is contradictory

Its a 10 cup when you measure using an 8oz cup. It has additional reservoirs on top.

How long is the filter good for? Filter does not have a indicator to prompt when to change it.

It means that you can refill your jug 200/1=200 times. We recommend to change the filter cartridge every 1-2 months depend on your water consumption.
