Good-bye, regular pads!
I love these. Great price considering the longevity of them! I used to buy organic cotton single-use pads, and it can get pretty pricey. I also didnt like how the single-use pads would slide around and get shifted, with or without wings. (Many pairs of underwear/shorts/ pants/ skorts have been ruined because of pads squishing and moving around.) Enter these reusable ones: In an effort to be more eco-friendly and less wasteful, I decided that these pads would be my last purchase for a long while. Iโm thrilled to say theyre comfy, very soft, low profile, dont shift like the single-use pads, theyre leak-proof, easy to wash, and itโs easy to fold the used ones and button them. My one caveat: I donโt like the bag it comes with. It feels cheap in comparison to the pads, but I use a separate organic cotton bag to keep them in. I also think a dual-compartment bag would be such a good idea. One compartment for the clean pads, and one compartment for the used ones. Also, please know that they will not look as pretty as they first do when you buy them. They will get staining, no matter how vigilant you are. I keep a spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide in my laundry room and bathroom to spray them after usage. Then, I will throw them into my next load of whites (or darks) and yes, I do machine-dry them. I have zero issues doing this, but they also air-dry flat quickly, as well. If youre looking for a good alternative without the chemicals, these are it. I love them and donโt miss my old pads at all. I keep single-use pads for guests, just in case, but theyre not something I use. Tips: -Buy more than one 5-pack! I have two of the 5-packs, and might get a third depending on how my flow is next month! -Learn which way you like to fold them and button them. That way, when theyre used, itโs easier to store them for later washing. Unbutton before you throw in the wash. -Hydrogen peroxide like I mentioned above. A spray form is what I use to generously douse before throwing in the wet bag, or in the washer. Helps remove blood stains. Overall, Picky Girl approved!!

Comfortable and no skin irritation
Wonderful pads. I have severe textile dermatitis issues so cotton is a must. I tried the other type (bamboo with microfiber) but it causes issues for me (might not for others). Cotton is harder to find and costs more but itโs important for me. These pixie brand are wonderful. Wash and dry well. Very comfortable. I only use for light stress incontinence so canโt speak to other uses. Please donโt stop making these!

The touch, the feel, the fabric of our lives. Yes theyโre that soft.
These pads are thin in a good way. Very absorbable for my heavy flow. Absolutely more soft on my skin than disposables. Well done on a superb product. I really wish they sold a longer length in a pack of 5 without too much of a price hike. I want to feel reassured that Iโm covered while active or sleep. Iโd buy these again. They wash out well if you use the right technique and detergent. Iโve bought another brand and it doesnโt compare. It slips out of place and feels a bit like a diaper. These do not.

Need snug undies to stay put; otherwise comfortable and absorbent enough for my needs
This was my first (and so far, only) purchase of reusable pads. I use them in addition to a silicone period cup on the heavier days, so I haven't fully tested their absorbency. They usually only get a light amount of blood, and they absorb them pretty well. They do wash pretty well, but are more likely to stain if you wait too long to prewash. I usually try to rinse them in cold water right away, let it soak for a couple minutes, then hand wash with a bar of soap. It gets out most of the stain that way. Then I let them hang dry before putting them in a garment bag to go through the wash later. As for comfort, I can wear them 10-12 hours per day and not feel any skin irritation, which is more than I can say for the conventional disposable pad. My main complaint is that I have to wear snug-fitting undies in order for the pads to stay put. It's not a huge deal since they're not catching the majority of the blood, but it is annoying.

Comfortable and Dry!
Iโm an avid cup user and I originally wasnโt going to try the pixie pads, but I decided to because I use disposable pads during the first 48 hours of my cycle as I overflow my xl cup every 5-6 hours. The first time I used them, I felt some pinching when I moved, but I havenโt had the problem since and Iโve been using them for several months now. I am very impressed with how well they wash and how little they have stained. I give them a quick rinse after use, then spray them with kids n pets to marinate in the enzymes before throwing in a laundry bag and washing. The buttons show no wear and tear, the material is still very soft, and I love that I donโt feel sweaty and sticky while wearing them. I feel continually dry. Itโs wonderful! I will be purchasing a couple sets for my daughter when she comes of age. Thanks Pixie!

Leak & Stain
I've used cloth pads for years now and needed to refresh my supply. This brand is awful. The material is continuous and so the wings trap your flow and it leaks all the way down onto your underwear and clothes. Stained my furniture and pants! Bad design. If they change that these could be great.

Perfect!
These work wonderfully! No leaks. Also I have sensitive skin and the fabric is perfect. Doesnโt irritate at all.

Comfortable and durable!
These are great. I recently made the switch away from disposable products (to include reusable pads and also period underwear) and I find these to be an excellent addition to my system. On my heavier days, I layer one over period underwear to extend the wear of the panties. They're very comfortable and do a good job of keeping me feeling dry. The side backside has little grippies that keep them from sliding around. Kudos to another reviewer who suggested flipping them backwards and wearing the back to front-- those fit underwear much better that way and feel much more comfortable. I also appreciate the little wet bag they come with for travel. My one issue is the staining. Although I rinse right away, soak in cold water, and do a double wash (once with water and once with soap), I do end up with some staining. I started using oxyclean on the stains and that has been effective. Overall, I'd buy them again.

Pain in the butt
Pain in the butt to clean but worth it in the end. Organic Rael disposables were still contributing to itching. I havenโt been itching with these that includes using the small ones as a panty liner. Note: they still stain after immediate wash in cold water. I havenโt tried soaking them in vinegar water yet, I will give that a try. I donโt have heavy periods anymore, but works well for medium flow. I have been hang drying them and takes a good 24 hrs

Fantastic, what a relief!
About a year ago my skin became very sensitive to many of my usual cosmetics, clothes, underwear and even disposable pads. It got to the point where I had to discard everything and start again. I started searching for a solution to disposable pads and was surprised to find so many reusable ones. Unfortunately, many of them had a fleece liner which I have also reacted too. I came across a UK company that sold cotton pads but they were out of stock and did not know when they would be available again. I did however, purchase a dedicated soak box for reusable pads from them. I then looked again and came across these cotton cloth pads from the Pixie Cup Store, on Amazon. What a delight! No dye, no fleece, no microfiber, just pure white cotton next to my skin. Fantastic. They have a waterproof base that does not touch my skin. I ended up getting two packs, one of the mini's and one of the medium size. I do prefer the mini's because the medium are a bit longer and sometimes fold over at the end when putting them on, it's easy enough to straighten them out though. Having said that, both packs are useful because they both work with different flows. They are easy to keep clean. I soak them immediately after using them, in the dedicated pad, wash box. I pop a bundle together in a laundry bag, and then the washing machine, on a cool cycle if soaking has not been enough. I sometimes dry them on low for a short while in the dryer, and air dry them further till I can put them away. I am so happy with these pads. They are comfortable, gentle against my skin and have solved the issue I had with disposable pads. They are also much better for the environment. Sadly, the stitching on one of the pads has started to unravel. I could have contacted Amazon, as they were the sellers and, I know they would have changed the whole pack. This seemed a waste to me, so I emailed the company, Pixie, directly and they were lovely. It would seem I have a dud one and even though I have said I did not need a replacement pad as it is still usable, they are still going to send a replacement. They were a pleasure to deal with. I will certainly be buying more pads from them in the future as I trust their products and their Company.

Great product!
I loveee these, so comfortable, doesnโt shift in your underwear, can tell your wearing them in jeans or sweats or scrubs. I rinse them immediately after wearing and then hand wash with a lingerie soap. They also come with a carry case that really helpful for storage.

I wish I knew about these sooner.
I recently had a pregnancy loss and I had to wear traditional pad for the prolonged bleeding but those irritated my skin and my cramps worse, I thought my bad cramps was just part of the process). But when switch to this the irritation went away almost immediately and the cramps eased off. The material is soft and very absorbant. I've initially bought the regular set but have now bought the overnight as well. I do wish there was an in between size and absorbency between the regular pad and the overnight version
