Shadowline Women's Beloved 53 Inch Braided Spaghetti Strap Long Gown

This nightgown is so comfortable! I love the flowy fit and the feminine details. This is the second one I own but made the mistake and ordered a medium instead of a small. These run VERY big as I normally wear a large but the small fits the best.

I am a nightgown/PJ junkie! That being said, I can say that I am so tired of all the tacky prints and colors of the inexpensive nightwear that I have. This Shadowline gown is wonderful. The teal color is rich and the lace is soft and comfortable and NOT sheer. I am 5'3", weigh 135 and purchased a medium. It is a bit long on me but not quite to the floor. I almost feel glamorous when wearing it - as glamorous as a 72 year young woman can - LOLI am so pleased with it that I am awaiting delivery on another - I can't wait to get the magenta color!!! I will now be able to clean out and donate the gowns I hate wearing!

Please be careful when you order any of these Shadowlight Nights Gowns- I order a Medium size 8Originally following the Sizing Chart-Needless to say, it was so BIG you could fit 2 of me in it. I ordered a Small - It fits nicely with PLENTY of room for comfort-Still billowy. If they made an Extra Small ll would probably fit nicer.I normally wearI normally wear a Small but Their Size chart clearly said I need the Medium.

The nightgown runs a bit large; I bought 3 mediums instead of a large after the first purchase. I am a bit picky with fabric and usually only like silk...these are far from silk but the fabric still has a very nice feel. I have washed these with other items such as T-shirts, undies, etc. and they wash well. Hang out after drying and they are wrinkle free too. The light blue is a little too see through for wearing around others (my elderly father lives with me) but the darker colors are okay if you get caught outside the bedroom without your robe. My husband was happy and said "what took you so long to replace your old nightgowns". Overall feels comfortable and feminine. I am almost always extra warm so don't need extra warmth but of course these would not be for you that crave warmth. I recommend this product.

I ordered my usual size but I could have fit two of me in this nightgown. It is extremely voluminous. I could have probably ordered down two sizes. The material is on the sheer side & it felt kinda cheap - not luxurious. I returned it & didn't try a smaller size.

Of all the different brands of nightgowns/ pajama sets I've had, this one (Shadowline) is the highest quality. The material is soft and luxurious. The lace is exquisitely detailed but not at all scratchy. The cut of the nightgown is so perfectly flattering.

This is a really nice gown. Very well constructed. As other reviewers have said, the straps are thin but sturdy because they are braided. Also the neckline is very attractive, makes me feel better about hanging out in the evening without a bra because I think it draws the eye upward, lol! It is very, very large. I wear a XL or XXL in a top at Target, so based on other reviews I bought a large and it is still way too big. It doesn't bother me because I would rather have extra room in a nightgown than not enough. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I feel that at this price, it could have been made of a nice cotton gauze instead of polyester. But if I preferred polyester to cotton I would have given this 5 stars.

I love everything about this product, the feel, fabric thickness & drape and the decoration & bottom edging!I also love the braided straps, they are soft despite the braidind. It is very comfortable & modest. One strap started coming unbraided in the wash, but the quality is high enough that I believe it's a rare thing.

I usually order a Large or xl depending on reviews and they suggested ordering size down. I'm so glad I ordered a Medium its still very roomy ! it is also very long touches floor I'm 5ft 4 ( not like picture above ankles) I shortened straps as I like the detail ruffle hem. I think it will be perfect for cooler nights as the polyester feels hot. Husband likes too

OMG, this is so pretty on. You might not expect it but it really is. I ordered a Medium and am about 170ish and it has plenty of room but it is sexy and romantic all in one. Even the color adds to it. Spend the money on it you wont regret it. Neither will you significant other.
