Good product
Good product. But online description said it included a storage bag. When received there was no bag. And box did not mention a bag.

Happy with this purchase
This is great! My dog loves it. She walks on it and it is stable. She is 19lbs. It comes with a sheet cover as well to keep it clean. It’s easy to open and close to store. So far it seems to be very durable. Looking forward to bring it on the beach vacation with us.

Great for travel and surface doesn't get excessively hot in the sun!
I have to say that this was larger than I was expecting. It fit both my shepherds (sitting) on it no problem! That being said, if you have a dog that takes off surfaces like a bat out of hell, yours may tear like mine did! :) Aside from an operator error (crazy, working blood line, young, 80 pound puppy that thinks he can fly if he pushes off things hard enough!!!), this portable bed has been fantastic. Even with those tears I speak of, my other shepherd continues to lay on it and be extremely comfortable. She has hip issues so that says a lot! She also has what you would call a year round "winter" coat and this is one of the few beds she has that she isn't panting on to cool herself off.

It works. But lacks locking in place.
So my Mastiff,Pit and cat all enjoy it. I wish there was a way to lock it in place when it’s open. Love the easy fold up and down feature with carrying case, and fitted sheet. It hasn’t folded up while they’re on it but seems unstable.

ok but no fitted sheet
this is ok for my 90 lb lab but because mine did not come with a cover so she is chewing on the corners. the cornes are plastic and are not that durable so a fitted cover would be nice. i am now trying to find where you can get the sheet separately but yet no luck! I really think if it had the sheet/cover she would really really like it!

Doggy Bed for the Buck :)
I have a Pitbull and this bed works great for him. It is sturdy enough and the cover softens it up and is easy to remove and clean. I have purchased MANY dog beds in the past and this one is definitely worth the money I spent. All of the dog beds I have purchased were elevated and pieces of junk. I went as far as steel framing for over $100 and simply put...$35.00 for this bed is worth it.

JUNK!
VERY disappointed! I was so excited when this arrived! I love the way it folds up, making it easy to move to other locations or store away. My dog typically sleeps with me in bed so this wasn't something he was going to be using every day. I just wanted to give him a place to sleep if he didn't want to be in the bed. I also wanted it to be portable to take outside so he could use it on the patio. I literally saw him on it three times when I noticed one of the black plastic connectors was broke! My dog is well within the weight guidelines so I have no idea how this happened. Because the bed is long, I'm still using it. It just slopes down on one side. For the price though, I'm really disgusted I'm stuck with a broken piece of junk! I absolutely do NOT recommend this product. Great idea but cheaply built. Also, the sheet does no longer comes with it.Upate - I went to the Carlson website and found out the bed was under warranty. I contacted them, told them what happened and after showing proof of my purchase from Amazon they honored the warranty. The bed was out of stock at the time but they promised they would automatically ship it when it became available. Turned out I had to contact them - the "automatic" part didn't happen but I did finally receive the replacement. I feel better now I received a replacement and have a new bed to use. Hopefully this one doesn't break the same way!!

Works well outdoors, a little slippery indoors.
UPDATE: 12 Months LaterThe collapsible frame broke, rendering the bed useless. We don't know when this happened - we had put the bed away for a while, and the next time we went to use it, it was broken. We have a retired racing Greyhound that we take camping with us in our RV. I wanted a bed that lifts him off the grass and helps keep him cool in the hot summer days. We ended up using this at home, too. Our full-sized greyhound fits on this nicely, although it took him a while to learn to step up onto it. Indoors, it is less useful, because it slides around on the hardwood flooring, making it harder for our hound to step onto.It is both light and strong. It sets up in a flash, and collapses to a pillowcase sized bundle.
