I Used This to Replace a Saddle Bag Lock
I Used This to Replace a Saddle Bag Lock and saved about $95 by retrofitting this lock. Purchased 2 of these so I can do the other saddle bag if necessary. Good quality.

Easy solution
Really easy to figure out and install. I was grateful that this included instructions. I’ve never done this kind of installation but the instructions and the various types of latches they include made it easy to figure out.

It's ok
The large nut that secures the cylinder in place is loose fitting. Not able to tighten down without it popping loose again...it's not stripped, just too large for the cylinder. It will stay in place if i don't have to use it. At least it's there if I should need it since my file cabinet didn't have anything filling the lock hole to begin with.

Wrong Keys
The lock arrived a day early, so kudos for that. However, the keys don't turn the lock.They fit in the hole just fine, but they won't turn, making it pretty much useless.Update: The company contacted me and sent instructions for how to do an exchange on Amazon. Amazon said to keep the old lock and sent me a new one. The new one arrived a day early again and the keys work in this one.Installation was easy. I would order from them again.

Keyed different, but work fine.
They work fine I just wish I could have gotten the same key for all three that I have.

Did the job.
Product arrived exactly as shown. Includes multiple latch arms for various applications. Mine was a 3/4" door with another 3/4" frame for a total of 1.5 inches and the reach was plenty.

Quality was even lower that the price
I didn't expect super quality at this price point but this item was total crap- so bad it isn't even usable. The key doesn't reliably unlock the lock and the cam is so soft a child could bent it. Run away!
