Great product! Had it set up to an old emachines monitor with a VGA to HDMI adapter and it ran great. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 that had an unfortunate run-in with a car and ended up that way. And even though it didn't turn on it still had a working inside and charge port. Both of which are necessary for the picture to go to your monitor or tv. And so it did wonderfully but not without some hiccups. Some tips I recommend if you are ever in a situation like me are 1. to make sure your connections are valid as I had to ram my phone and adjacent connector together a bunch to get it to work. 2. I think some people were complaining that the power of their USBC power supply was too weak so to play it safe I went with a 45 watt power brick. 3. Make sure your phone has power and is on, for like 30 minutes I was wondering why it wasn't working and so I charged the phone for a bit and turned it on and tadaa. It seems kind of obvious but just to make sure you don't make the same mistake as me. Overall the product is great, it had a nice thick cable with a gold(?) plated USBC male port. A metal casing ensured that the product felt premium. I heard you could use it as a switch dock but unfortunately I couldn't test that. And in the end it served its purpose well. 9/10

I purchased this to connect my Steam Deck to my Arcade Legends Pinball (ALP) machine. QCE's USB adapter does just that; there's a bit of a delay, but I think it's SteamOS at fault. Now I can play Pinball FX 3 in cabinet mode, with the ALP's controls. Now I just need Zen Studios to add more tables.

The quality of the cable seems to be solid, however, it did not work on my S9 at first. But the customer service was relentless in making sure I was happy, they sent me a new cable and it works very well. Keep in mind that you have to attach the cable between the phone and TV first, make sure you have your phone displayed on the TV screen and only then can you input the USB charging cable, that was unclear to me at first.

I should have listen to the nay sayers....This is junk It loses its Hdmi connection quite often and you have to unplug and plug back in nonstop.... Why have usb port if its not able to handle a fast charge or it uses more power than it charges......It defeats the whole purpose of buying the 3 way...junk pure junk i should have kept my type 3 to hdmi and then every time I get low on power stop watching and give it good charge with my quality cell charger...This thing is going back

Bought to use with my Kenwood head unit in my car , hdmi video plays flawlessly! Highly recommend !

I loved the idea but it didn't stay connected. My son said he thought it may have been broken in the cord. I like that it had three hook up so it could charge.

Bought to be able to plug an HDMI into my macbook and hook up to the TV to watch movies, but picture quality is terrible. Its still useful for the USB adapter and was cheap so i cant complain too much.
