POWERTEC 70333 Dust Collector Bag, 21" x 31", 1 Micron Filter, For JET, Grizzly, Shop Fox, Wen, Harbor Freight, and POWERTEC DC-1512

I replaced the OEM dust bag on my Harbor Freight 2hp dust collector, and this was a perfect fit. I always thought the stock bag did an ok job, but this one blows it away. The stock bag would always let fine dust through, but this one never seems to have a cloud of dust around it. It definitely seems a high quality material, especially compared to the old bag. Suction is still good, and it was very easy to install. I’m very impressed with the performance.

Arrived in 2 days I think ... I just purchased a 2 hp Harbor Freight (5 micron) dust collector to replace my 1 hp Grizzly. I was concerned about the fit and how performance might be affected going from 5 microns to 1 micron filtering. Fit was fine. The bag seems much thicker than the standard HF bag. Good quality too. re: CFM / suction, I did a very unscientific test by seeing how effective an open, horizontal pipe would hold a package of sandpaper. With the 5 cfm bag, it would barely hold the package with 3 sheets. With the 1 micron it also barely held the same package of 3 sheets. Neither would hold 4 sheets and easily held 2 sheets. So, for me, not a lot of difference in suction / cfm. I was happy with that. How's that for hillbilly testing? ;-) See photos.

I had a 30 micron bag on my dust collector (Delta 50-850). With the 30 micron bag I was constantly getting a very fine coat of dust on everything in my entire shop, very annoying and very unhealthy. With this new dust bag, as you might expect, I no longer have that problem. In fact, so far, I have not had any dust at all, at least not any that I can detect. I haven't used it enough just yet to make a final judgment but so far I'm impressed. A couple of things to note; this bag is thick so the metal band that latches down to hold the bag onto the separator is a little difficult to close, but it does close. The other thing is the bag is a little shorter than the original bag. I used a D-ring to connect it to the support rod to make up the difference in the height of the bags and it works well.

Good filtration and as expected, reduced dust collector suction strength but that’s ok.

I purchased a Harbor Freight dust collector for my shop, and while it does a good job of keeping dust down, the really small stuff would get through the bag. Turning on the collector sent a large puff of fine dust into the air. This bag has really minimized the fine dust. It was easy to install - it's just a bit larger than the original one, but only in height - the circumference is a perfect match. This bag is stiffer, so it stands up - which is good since the bag hook on the collector is kind of useless with the height of this bag. I may add a shop air filter as well to really clean it up, but this has made a great improvement.

I'm a professional woodworker. This bag replaces a 20 year old fine particle dust bag which filtered almost all dust out. This new bag is just as effective if not more so. The bag is on a 1600 CFM single bag collector with a 2 H.P. motor. This new bag is very heavy material, not light weight or cheap and filters out all visible particles. The attachment loops are heavy duty. IT DOES NOT COME WITH A CLAMP BAND. This is an excellent commercial grade bag.

For the price it is great. It works very well and lets plenty of air through for a 1 micron filter. If you want a one micron filter the only other available is the canister type which will cost you well over a hundred dollars. It is cut a little oversized so it will fit almost every model. I put it on a harbor freight 1500CFM dust collector and it works great and fit just fine. Very good value for the money.

This filter fits my Harbor Freight Central Machinery, 35-gallon dust collector. It is thick and well-made. I can't attest to how small dust particles it can filter out, but it seems to work well in my shop. It is easy to install and can be pressed down when not in use to save space.

I have hooked this bag directly to a 2" hose connected to my DeWalt planner. Works well, happy with my purchase.
