Can I use standard AA batteries for this turntable?

No, standard AA batteries will NOT work. It requires a specific 18650 rechargeable battery for wireless use, which is NOT included. You can also use it directly by plugging in the provided Micro USB cable.

My display stand just moves left and right, it's not doing a 360 rotation. Is it broken?

It is not broken! This usually happens when the battery power is low. We recommend fully charging the 18650 battery for at least 6 hours before first use, or connecting the USB cable to ensure sufficient power for smooth rotation.
