Red Collet Chuck Wrench Spanner for ER32 Clamping Nut and Screw

I was debating what style to buy for a wrench and settled on this one for a couple reasons it is very solid. 1/4" thick and longer than other ones so it gives you more leverage. I am very happy with it. The half round style allows you to tighten or loosen the the tool holder without the bit getting in your way. it arrived quickly and was packaged well.

Precision fit. The wrench is 1/4 inch thick. No slip or slop!

Works well with Collet chuck and plenty leverage.

Much heavier than I thought and is a perfect fit. No problem cranking down on these. Too bad they don't make this with a 3/8" drive hole in the handle near the nut end. It would be nice to use a torque wrench with it at 90 degrees.

This thing is what you need if you are going to be working with ER32 collets. If you look up er32 specs for tightening torque, you will find values as high as 100 ft-lb. The good engagement and longish handle help alot with tightening to the level required to prevent tooling slippage at high loads.

This wrench is the best fitting. I paid a few extra dollars and it paid off. It is almost .250 thick and it grips half way around the collet. Great tool and a good price.

Now I have this _and_ one you have to remember to put on the right way to either tighten or loosen the collet chuck.Quality is fine, fit is good. Pick the right tool for the job at hand.

Supposedly an er20, but actually fits an er35. Only 1/2" off or so, ha ha...
