Very nice -they seem like they will hold up to plenty of uses and washes but I cannot speak to that yet. I will happily update this review after the initial impression wears off which is this: As I said they seem very nice and comfortable. The different stains looks decent and though they are just *slightly* too short my tastes, perfectly fine.The problem is a ridiculous one and it is only the packaging - the gold and black label you see at the top of each pair is a sticker which keeps the pairs of same color together - it wraps all the way around the chopsticks and uses an adhesive that has been stuck there since (it would seem) 1994. I'm plenty used to getting sticker goo off of various purchases - that's fine. This somehow went above and beyond irritating, probably due to the cheap adhesive used on these particular stickers, the length of time they've been affixed, and the porous nature of the wood on which they're stuck. And I do mean STUCK. It just took me at least half an HOUR to remove the stickers and the residual goo - I finally had to resort using white gas (naphtha, lighter fluid, etc.) to soak the ends in, twice, rub, soak, rub. Then rinse three times in boiling water to get the gas smell out of the ends of the chopstick. A huge headache over a lousy sticker on each pair. CHANGE THIS please.Other than this silly issue they seem just fine - but what an irritation this was.Update:I received a response from Mainiusi Store which was quite nice and so I've added an additional star. (I may add yet another if these hold up well). The naptha I used to remove the goo is by far the best method I've found in many years of dealing with adhesive residue, but the tips they sent, though already known, are certainly a nice touch. I hope they follow through and remove the unecessary stickers for future buyers. (This has turned into a ridiculously long review for 5 pair of chopsticks! It isn't often that i notice a product i order online looks exactly like the photo, but this one does and it's beautiful! I love the rough-hewn style and multi-colored wood on these chopsticks. Let's face it, this really does help food taste better! So, aside from beauty, why did i choose these over the many chopstick sets on Amazon?*They're made of wood. Not only do i believe that natural materials are healthier for us i find that wood and bamboo utensils in particular greatly enhance my enjoyment of a meal. If you stop and think about it, you may decide with me that pointy, cold metal, though natural, is a harsh delivery system for your comforting sustenance. My noodle bowls just got elevated to ultimate!*These are the shortest chopsticks i found on Amazon among the many well-rated choices. My hands are easily (American) medium in most glove sizes if that has anything to do with it and helps. I find longer chopsticks unwieldy.*This product has a thorough and informative presentation of information.*The seller, Mainiusi Store, is conscientious about giving a great product and support for the money you give them. I'm thrilled to say that i simply twisted each set to break each sticker and they all came off easily and completely with no further cleaning needed.

Very decent quality sticks. I can't stand the metal or smooth material sticks out there. I highly prefer uneven surface wood sticks. You have more control, more grip. These are lovely, natural looking, simple sticks that are very functional. They're not just cheap "dissolves in water" balsa. They haven't swollen up or warped so far. Very intuitive feel and great grip.

I purchased these chopsticks as a gift. I am so happy to hear how much she loved them. I was struggling to find a gift for her, but I knew she liked to eat sushi a lot so I thought she might like a nice set of chopsticks. I hit it out of the park with this set. I love it when she texts me that’s she’s using them and enjoying my gift.

Very attractive set at a very reasonable price. They are somewhat shorter than many chopsticks being offered for sale, but that is a plus for me since I have small hands and the longer, bulkier chopsticks are difficult for me to use.Another selling point for me was the extremely courteous and friendly messages I've seen from the company selling this set - what a pleasure to see such a pleasant approach to customer service!

Absolutely beautiful, the different colors of wood are gorgeous, very functional utensils. The wooden ones are easier to pickup food.
