From the new believer to the most mature, these study books can be used for both, with both attending the same study. They are easy to follow, featuring insightful and challenging questions that are suitable for personal reflection and group discussions. The studies allow for a more in-depth study with additional scriptures added with each question.

Simple and easy questions for small Group study. Will purchase again for another lesson.

The gospels are gems of God's wisdom and purpose displayed through his Son, and the best studies look deeply at Jesus with background info to support but not overwhelm the Author's clear purpose. John MacArthur does this very well. We are enjoying this study: the reading and supportive notes are so helpful, and the cross references suggested for additional reading (OT and NT) really pull it all together. Appreciate these studies!

These books are truly spectacular for how to relate and understand what the Bible is depicting in each chapter. I’ve purchased 5 books for the New Testament and I look forward to this series helping me with reading the entire Bible and actually understanding it throughout each chapter. It is probably more for a novice Bible reader than for a well-practiced theologian, but it’s a great way to spend about an hour on each chapter a day and actually come out completely understanding what you just read and spending intentional time on God’s word while also incorporating optional prayer at the end of each chapter into your daily routine.

Surprisingly good - exceeded my expectations when our Bible study group chose it. Bible text on each page, good probing questions and reflections for each chapter.
