VERY LOW QUALITY
The head of the screw broke off leaving the body inside my camera the very first time I tried to use it. Useless.

Allows my fluid head to hold a camera in portrait format.
Review of CofunKool Aluminum L Bracket Vertical Horizontal Switching Camera Quick Release Tripod Plate for DJI Ronin RS2 RSC2 Zhiyun Weebill-S Gimbal Stabilizer Tripod MonopodI recently acquired a fluid head for a tripod. What a fluid head does really well is hold a camera level in a landscape format because a fluid head is designed mainly for video, which is rarely used in portrait format. What a fluid head does not do at all is hold a camera in a portrait format. This device allows me to attach a camera to my fluid head to take photos in portrait format. While video is rarely taken in portrait mode, photos can frequently be taken that way. It would be inconvenient to remove the fluid head and attach a different type head to the tripod when I want to take portrait format photos, but using this I can fairly easily just remove the camera attach this and attach the camera to this. I will get another quick release mechanism and split it so the one that matches the one on the fluid head is attached to the bracket to take the camera and the one that matches the camera is on the bracket to attach to the fluid head. The arrangement is adjustable, flexible in terms of which piece is top, which piece will be side. And how the side piece is attached. The materials feel sturdy, well machined and precise. Easy to assemble with the included Allen wrenches. Or can be used individually as the plates have ¼” threaded openings to match the threads on tripod screws.Nice item, solves my problem.

Gimbals
Does not fit gimbal arca-types. It is missing the extra slot for the safety screw pass through.

Two different mount widths
This mount is well built and versatile in that the vertical portion can be attached to either side. The problem for me however is that I hoped to use it for a 35mm camera, to quickly switch between horizontal and vertical orientations without having to readjust the ball head on my tripod. One portion of this mount is Arca Swiss compatible, which is the mount I use; the other portion though is made for a video tripod, like a Manfrotto style, which is too wide for an Arca Swiss mount. If you're on a fluid head, shooting video and need to go vertical, this will probably work fine for you. If your needs are more like mine than you may need to look elsewhere.

Well built L Bracket
I have to admit upfront I didn't read the product listing as well as I should have. I pretty much assumed I was ordering an L bracket that flipped rather than a fixed one that can be changed to vertical orientation with a bit of effort. That's my fault and I'm not letting affect my review of the product. As far as the actual product, it's very well built, feels solid. And it does work on the Weebil S (with some tweaking!) as claimed. I've still been considering how I would use it beyond evaluation purposes. Had some vague ideas, then read another review that said he was using the L bracket on a fluid head to shoot vertically for social media and I've decided that's definitely one use I will make of it!So my advice? If vertical video is useful in your life, this a great choice, feels like it will last a long time.

Versatile Bracket
With 3 different mounting points for the angle (left, right, and end), this bracket can help with getting equipment positioned just the way you need it. It has several 1/4" tapped holes for mounting additional accessories like balance weights as well. The kit I received came with 6 screws to mount the angle bracket, but only 2 of them are needed. 2 different size allen wrenches were also included, though only the larger one seems to be needed. It's better to have extra parts than missing ones I guess. The screw holes are all tapped out pretty well and don't have a lot of slop in them. The screws for mounting the camera are captured in the slot, and must be unscrewed in order to remove them. The fit and finish is well done.Overall, this is a nicely made bracket.
