This was an interesting read that made you keep wanting to read more and more. Some parts were hard to follow along. She would be on one topic then say something and without warning she would explain that part then continue on with the topic she started with. So I felt myself back pedaling a little to try to make sense of the timeframe. But loved that it was so raw and open and really felt like the author was right beside me telling me her story in regular conversation.

Absolutely a good read. She never made excuses or tried to sugar coat things. It’s a sad story but raw and real and beautiful all at the same time. To know where she came from, from being a selfish addict, to a loving mom and wife.To the people that said “I wanted to like it BUT” no u didn’t let’s just be real. Is it what you would find on the shelves at Barnes and Nobel probably not. There is a lot of run on sentences, grammar, and spelling but it’s not unreadable. You know what she was saying, it’s as if she was sitting in front of you telling her life story. Very personal like, which to me is the beauty of it. You could feel like you where in her brain at the time of events. I just got the book yesterday and just finished tonight and I’m sad it’s over to be honest because I couldn’t put it down.

I completely forgot to review this book. I bought it last year when it came out. Even though there are many grammar errors and run on sentences. That would never have made me feel compelled to give this incredibly book a 1 star. I understood it very well. It’s a great read, personally. It’s a book about the very real and realistic life and life moments of someone that wasn’t blessed with the best bring up. Yes, she could have chosen a different path but many of us can relate. Myself included. Our life was hard but the past never defines you. Ashley is real and she doesn’t care what ANYONE thinks. Many of us have demons that we would never have the courage to talk about to even family let alone the whole world. Ashley is THE BEST example of anyone can turn their lives around if you truly want it. Definitely worth the read if you’re not a Karen with a stick up your a$$. Great job Ashley!

This book is great!! I started following Miss Ashley on TikTok because not only is she beautiful but keeps it real. So when I discovered she wrote some books I jumped on the bandwagon and glad I did. It’s real, no matter what anyone says, it’s beyond real life! Some of you should grow up and get out of your comfy lives just for a bit!!LOL

So I love Ashley and her tiktok videos so I went to read the reviews as soon as the book dropped and a lot of the reviews were bad and I almost listened to them but I’m very glad I didn’t. Yes there are some grammatical errors but tbh it doesn’t bother me bc the story itself is very moving. It’s sad it’s real and ppl actually go through things some of us can’t even imagine. I think it is most definitely worth reading and she tells her story well. If you like a raw story told exactly how real life can be, then you will want to read this. Some of the reviews will make you think twice but I’m telling you it truly is worth the money and worth reading.

I follow her on tiktok and I had to hear the story. I love how it’s written. She writes as if we are two girls swapping life stories. Can’t wait to read the other one.

I found her while scrolling tiktok. I had the privilege of growing up on a very loving household. I've always been intrigued by other people's life stories. I'm so sorry so many people failed you at such a young age, but you're doing amazing now. From rags to riches girl! Keep bettering yourself! Proud of you.

First off, I am so disappointed and disgusted with all the negative reviews I read about Ashley’s book - Her story is truly heartbreaking and inspiring, and I couldn’t put this book down! Why can’t we empower one another and realize how much strength it must have taken Ashley to dig up painful memories and share her story to the world - to just be criticized and judged for something as minor as a few grammatical errors. Let’s look past that and see a woman who has turned her life around for the better, which sadly isn’t the outcome for a lot of other men/women who have been in Ashley’s position. Amazing work - don’t let anyone say anything different. I’m blown away by this book and I appreciate you sharing your life with us! Thank you!

Honestly... I got into reading this book after stumbling over Ashley on tiktok and I just wanted to see *how* bad her book is since it's included in kindle unlimited.Read it in one evening/night - really got me invested.Is it a good book? Great literature? Well crafted? No.But it's convincingly authentic, a rather captivating narration that keeps you invested and reading it feels like listening to a friend tell you her story over a pint or two.It's confusing at times, bordering on the absurd at others and the writing really lacks any finesse but all through the book it feels real in it's bluntness and keeps you rooting for her just to shake your head the next page.And after all that's what makes a book worth reading in my opinion... It's a gate to another world or in this case another life and that is a job it does astoundingly well.

Amazing biography enjoyed every single chapter really looked forward to my down time peace and quiet reading this book! Onto the next one now
