This worked but is a loose fit. I had to press down hard while turning to prevent the splines from slipping. I recommend the Park tool if you will use this more than once

I've only used it once, but it seems like a good less-expensive alternative to the Park Tool BBT-22 / BBT-32.It seems like a quality tool. The one I received matches the product photo closely, but I can't tell if the splines were machined or metal-injection-molded because the coating seems pretty thick.The flats on the wrench end are slight over 24 mm... about 24.1 mm, so if you have a tight tolerance 24 mm wrench, you might have difficultly getting your wrench on it. But an adjustable wrench would work fit if you don't have a 1/2 inch drive ratchet or breaker bar.There's also a version on eBay for cheaper that appears to be identical to this except that doesn't have the BC logo on it.I don't see any reason to go with the Park Tool version.

Bought this tool for (what is hopefully) a one time job, that is, remove a Shimano bottom bracket. Although it was a one time job, I wanted it to be a quality tool, as I have bought a cheap one time tool before which ended with regret. This BW BB tool fit the quality tool mold and did the job. It felt hefty with well defined teeth which gripped the bottom bracket well, and the job was quickly accomplished, with no slips or errors.Will have no qualms buying other BW tools, in fact, I already have.

20 spline bottom bracket removal socket excellent quality piece to add to your tool box.reverse tread counter clock wise.used 1/2 inch dewalt impact gun no problem 24mm socket can use aswell removed quickly approved tool.

Easy to use but seemed to strip very easily.. I applied lots of pressure to keep it engaged but it slipped out multiple times and stripped

This tool has fit well. Some other reviews, reporting tool weakness, encourage me to take great care in placing the tool carefully, and securing it to the bearing cup with a quick-release skewer, before applying torque.
