VetriScience GI Balance Pro for Canines and Felines - Supports Digestion, Gastrointestinal Comfort, Regularity, and Immune Health in Cats and Dogs - 60 Soft Chews

I'm wondering if this supplement possibly gave my dog diarrhea. I hold Vetriscience in highest esteem as their Lysine treats really solved my cat's longstanding eye infection, but the calming treat for dogs seemed to have no effect at all on my dog, and this GI Balance Pro--well, my dog has diarrhea now and I don't think she's had anything else new that would have caused it. I'm not seeing anyone else reviewing who has had this issue, so I'm posting this in case anyone else's dog had this reaction. Maybe it's something else altogether, I just don't know. I have read with other products that they work for some but not for others.

I've purchased this a few times from Amazon but the last one and this one they appear to be stale. The first one was bought from my vet and my dog loved them. So I decided to buy them again from Amazon. My dog continued to like them until the last two purchases which had a stale look and feel to it. Not sure if they changed the ingredients but I'm very disappointed since they are so expensive. I'm going to have to find another dog probiotic.

While the attributes the stars rate for this product are just guesses, since I am not my dog and have no idea what she thinks of the scent, I will say that she is not at all interested in the flavor. When I offer these to her, she drops it immediately and it stays there until I accidentally step on it later and then pick it up.I do not know if it helps as it is intended or not, as my dog will not eat them.

These are so expensive. My vet first prescribed these for my dog’s GI troubles. Amazon had them for a few $$ less. My dog loves the flavor. I’m just not convinced that they do anything more than plain, unsweetened yogurt, which my dog also loves.

Vet recommended these when my dog was taking antibiotics. My dog absolutely loves these, I was able to use them as a motivational treat once I got her to take the meds. I still give her one daily just to keep her digestive system running smoothly.

My vet recommended giving my dogs one of these a day to help keep things regular, and I have noticed a difference since doing so. My dogs love getting their daily “treat” and I love that it is good for their digestive health. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because all the bags I’ve received from amazon have been a little stale, but still edible.

These chews have virtually eliminated my toy poodle’s stomach issues. She would get bouts of not eating and vomiting, and since I began feeding her a daily chew she hasn’t had any problems. It has been four months since my veterinarian recommended them and so far there has been a vast improvement. I break the chew into smaller pieces and she eats them without a problem. Worth every penny.

The last bag I purchased looked stale, had a strange odor and the pieces were almost white and very hard. Will be looking for a probiotic that more reasonably priced Expected better quality for the price!
