Good Alternative to a Clay Bar
This sponge works well for removing surface contamination and is much easier to use than traditional clay. It glides smoothly with proper lubrication and does a good job knocking down roughness without being too aggressive. It’s convenient, reusable, and saves time compared to kneading clay. As long as you keep it clean and use enough lubricant, it performs exactly as expected.

Better than Clay
Just like others, I didn't believe it until I tried it out. Works just like a clay bar only easier. The one thing I hated about clay bars was the constant kneading of the product and if it falls, you are screwed. With the NanoSkin Scrub, use a detailer spray, any will work (I used Meguiar's Quik Detailer, red bottle. and work the area until its smooth as glass. Mine fell twice, I simply picked it up, cleaned it with water and some detailer spray and microfiber towel, and back to working on the car. I honestly looked at the surface I was working on several times at different angles to make sure this product wasn't scratching the surface. Overall, worked as advertised, IMO better than a clay bar. Used the same scrub on two cars, one hasn't been clayed for years, with great results. Update: I've had this product since July 2015. Used it about 6 times since and still works great. I just finishing 'claying' a car a few days ago that hasn't been clayed since the winter, still left that smooth glass feel on the paint. For anyone that doesn't have this yet, GET IT. Easier and safer to use than regular clay.

Best Paint Cleaning Product in the market today
I purchased 2 of these sponges. One for myself and one for a friend. The product was nicely packaged, and arrived quickly through Amazon Fulfillment Services. This is a very good paint claying tool, designed to create ease in dust, grime and other nasty stuff that sits on our car paint and gradually embeds it. The kind of stuff, which cannot be removed by simple car wash shampoo. Previously I had used clay bars. While the clay bars do an excellent job at cleaning painted surface, they have some shortcomings too. Like they cannot be removed after first use. They cannot be used, if dropped on the floor or road. Enter Nanoskin Autoscrub. Not only is this product very easy to use, it also allows to be reused. If dropped on the floor, simply wash it with plain water and start using again. It is also very time efficient, when compared to traditional clay bars. This product promises to clean upto 25 cars from one sponge. In a way, this is the last claying product, I would probably buy. To use, keep spraying/pouring lubricant over the panel. For good results, Nanoskin Glide can be used. Although this is down to personal preference as well.

Works well, recommended
Overall a great product, I did one car and it looks literally amazing, huge improvement! The tactile feedback the sponge gives is hard to read, ordinary polishing gives clear feedback which is quite satisfying. The feedback you get from the sponge isn't satisfying, it's puzzling from beginning to end but by the end the results trump the effort. Sorry to use the T word, but sanders in relation to paint ... seemed counter to my intent. I tried several methods with the sponge, the method that worked best was using a (clean!) 5 gallon bucket with a few inches of water in it and some shampoo (for hair), not too much shampoo though, maybe a cap full. Rinse the sponge frequently, wring it out lightly, wet the surface with back of sponge first then start rubbing the rubber side over the paint. Work in small areas, move on when the confusing input tells you to. I washed the car after, dried it and waxed it and it looks like glass, super tactile and inviting, makes you want to touch it. Recommended!

Great product. Better than clay bar in our opinion. Will continue to use.

Remarkable clay REPLACEMENT
Very impressive. I had always resisted claying my cars because of the marring stories I encountered over the years. Today's clear coats are so thin and having to polish out minor abrasion marks just seemed like using up a finite surface layer that I wanted to protect and enhance, not reduce. Cutting to the chase. The other day I started claying the hood of my F150 with a clay bar from Simonize. At first, I was very please with the progress, but things quickly started to show the marring that I had dreaded. I stopped and ordered this NanoSkin sponge from Amazon. When I got the NanoSkin I picked up where I had stopped and finished the remaining surfaces of the truck. The NanoSkin works several times faster AND left behind an ultra smooth, unmarred surface. I even dropped and rinsed the NanoSkin Sponge a few times and thought I was going to have trouble, but no. Now clay would have been ruined at that point. Remarkable results!

Expensive but worth it to me
This little baby is expensive. Considering I can pick up a clay bar and detailer spray for half as much as this little sponge. For me, it's worth the price. Finally got around to using it this weekend. Did a routine wash on wifey's car this morning. The paint literally felt like sandpaper! Seems she parked her car at work and they were doing construction on the nearby tennis courts. Paint over spray over the entire car. It was so fine that you had to look to see it. So, I figured it was time to try the clay sponge. So hard to get motivated to do this during the Texas summer. Started in on the hood, which got the worst of it. Spent a few minutes on the test section, wiped the detailer spray off and wow! Smooth as you could ask for. After a third of the hood, it seemed to be "grabbing" rather than gliding over the clean parts. Looked at the sponge and it had little rollers of clay. Kind of like pulling on the inside of a sweatshirt. I remembered you can rinse these off in water and had my bucket of rinse water from the wash nearby. I submerged it, rubbed the clay part for a bit, pulled it out and squeezed the water out. Good as new. Sweet! Did some more and ended up doing what I always do with clay: dropped it on the ground. With clay, I would be cursing. A quick rinse and squeeze and I was back at it. About the only down side: it seemed to take more passes than clay to get the same effect. That's somewhat offset by not having to squeeze, kneed, and reflatten like clay. It also felt better in the hand. Overall, very pleased.

Shockingly good!
Honestly, I was very skeptical of this nano skin. I hate to sound like one of those car commercial guys, but this thing smooth out my new paint job more than I ever thought it could. Stunning shine with minimal effort. You might not notice it as much the first time but the second or third time you will step away and feel the difference immediately.

Lasts long and cleans like a dream
I bought this way back in 2017 and have used it quite liberally on two of my cars. It has really lasted for over 5 years. It did its job well too. Removed all contamination from the paint and made the surface glass smooth. For the years it lasted, I would say it was worth the money I paid.
