Online stations, podcasts, Spotify Connect and app control require broadband and a compatible wireless router. DAB and FM reception can operate without an internet connection.

Is the Bard internet radio WiFi compatible with my router?

It supports 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless connections with WEP, WPA and WPA2 security. Connect by entering your network password or using WPS on a compatible router.

Can I use wireless headphones with the DAB radio?

No. Bluetooth receives audio from phones and tablets but does not transmit to wireless headphones. Private listening is available through the 3.5mm wired headphone output.

Is the FM radio portable or battery-powered?

The Bard is mains-powered and does not have an internal rechargeable battery. It is designed for use near a power socket with the supplied 15V adaptor.

Which USB files can the internet radio play?

It supports MP3 files on FAT16 or FAT32 USB drives with capacities up to 128GB. The USB port is for audio playback only and cannot charge another device.
