20V MAX Cordless Impact Wrench with Hog Ring Anvil, Brushless High Torque 1/2 Impact Gun, 4-Mode Speed, Includes Battery, Charger and Kit Bag (DCF900P1)

I think I ended up getting this DeWalt 20v Max cordless 1/2" impact, that came with the 20v battery, charger and bag, because I was replacing the rear brake pads on my shuttle bus that I'm now converting into a food truck but at the time I needed to get the lugs off and originally brought an 20v impact from harbor freight that couldn't take off a tricycle wheel nut. So after returning that crappy impact back to harbor freight I said let me try Amazon and I came across this bad boy. So once it came in, went and proceeded to changing the rear brakes on my shuttle bus, and this DeWalt 20v Max cordless impact just on one knocked those lug nuts right off like they were hand tightened. Been in love ever since, nothing like pure power, it was magnificent. Now it's been a minute since I purchased this 20v Max cordless impact and the battery is still good and able to hold a charge. Haven't had one negative issue with it since purchasing it. I've brought other DeWalt items since cause I've had DeWalt products in the past that I actually still have and works as if I recently purchased them but they were all with cords. But this 20v Max cordless impact is a monster and it can handle everything I've thrown at it so far. I have no complaints. I also brought more battery packs just to have extras and everything works so well. I'm a huge fan, I take it everywhere I go especially when traveling across the road. Cause zip, zip, zip and you're done. Nothing like it, now others may have different preferences but for me, this is who I roll with cause I've never been disappointed. The torque is amazing, decent size, very versatile, comes with carrying case.

It's a BEAST! I had a less expense impact gun (made overseas) and it wasn't much good because anytime I tried to use it on stuck or high torqued nuts/bolts I ended up getting out an extension breaker, with a pipe attachment because the cheap ugadugga won't budge it. I've used this three times now (~44 nuts/bolts) and even the stuckest nut was no match. This DeWalt gave just a single UGH and then spun the nuts free. No wrist twist, no swear words, it just plain does the job. You will thank yourself for spending the few extra dollars. I admit, it is on the heavy side so if you need to use it alot on a single project, 8 lbs can be a workout. Or maybe I'm just getting old - whaa I'm an active DIY and not a sponsor.

DEWALT 20V Max 900 Series Rechargeable Impact Wrench is an awesome tool! I've used it for over 2 years now. Battery vitality and strength to spare. The brushless engineerd high torque motor delivers remarkable power with a variable 4 speed selector button. Had a stabilizer link job one day. Help was locked onto the head end of the bolt with a breaker bar and socket. I was on the nut end with the DEWALT. Squeezed the trigger and kapow. The nut was rusted on but the Max 900 muscle snapped the stabilizer link right out of the mounting hole like a toothpick! Lol just perfect. All I could ask for at the moment. Where this magnificent impact wrench ranks with other installation and removal tools is debatable. Weighty it is but mighty strong it is too. The battery keeps up and then some. This impact laughs at lug nuts. Loosens them effortlessly. Universal use in many applications of work, sport or play, the DEWALT 20V MAX impact wrench excels!

I needed a wrench for doing automotive work, mostly changing tires. I tried a generic version that was a lot less expensive and returned it after one use, did not come anywhere near the Torque rating and would not remove the lug nuts on my Truck. Decided to pony up and pay for a good tool and am so happy I did. Many repair shops over torque the lug nuts when you have service done and using my air tools I often couldn't remove the lugs. This tool spun them off immediately. I really like the four different speed/torque settings to deal with different torque needs..forward and reverse. Wish I had bought this years ago, but will get a lot of use in my shop.

Great Impact Wrench! I bought this to take my wheels off my camper. It was so easy to use, very powerful. The battery was quick to charge. I liked that it came with a sturdy zipper case. This is a high-quality impact wrench with a good strong grip. It is well worth the money.

This is a VERY powerful high quality tool. I originally wanted Milwaukee but this one puts out the same amount of torque and is half the price. This thing tears through lug nuts like Sherman did through Atlanta. The ergonomics are great too!

Far too early to talk about performance/reliability/service life but initial impressions are great. Ergonomics and design. Notably, ~$130 for an impact driver, drill *and* two batteries with a charging dock from a *trusted* supplier? Yes please. The advertising in Amazon currently states that they use brushless motors. They do not. Definitely look into this if this is a deal breaker. The "burning" smell mentioned by other reviewers? Most likely the brushes breaking in/seating. It goes away after a short period of time and is normal. The smell could also be a residual chem left over from the manufacturing process. It too is nothing to be concerned about and doesn't last long. I experienced this once before with a blower motor for a car. It only lasted about three days with intermittent use and was barely noticeable. Brushed motors may explain how Dewalt kept the cost down. There's nothing wrong with brushed motors but compared to brushless, not ideal for more demanding/commercial use, service life and efficiency/battery life. That said, my ~24yr old DeWalt driver, trim saw and sawzall use brushed motors and are still functional. They aren't used regularly though and often sit for a year or more without use. They feel less substantial/lighter than the my ~24yr old DeWalt 14.4v drill/14.4v trim saw/18v sawzall kit but this isn't necessarily an indicator of quality/durability. Most likely, an evolution of design and materials. I guess. Sadly, only sketchy aftermarket batteries are available for my 14.4v and 18v tools. DeWalt provides an adapter for their 18v tools but not for the 14.4v tools. In both cases, too many compromises for continued use, time to move on to the 20v ecosystem. Next up, a 20v trim saw. For commercial or heavy use, I'd suggest buying further up the line. For the weekend warrior, these work well. Great starter set/gift for first time home buyers. The selling point is the brand. Trust is hard won and a never ending struggle for manufacturers to maintain but so far for me, Dewalt's delivered. Happy customer, highly recommended.

This thing is all you need. Solid unit. Bought to do boat trailer work and it was Awesome next is a jack plate in the winter. Lug nuts no problem. Rusted nuts no problem ripped them off after 13 years on the trailer

Y la verdad me encantó el Producto, se ve de muy buena calidad, aún no la e probado pero A simple vista te deja más que satisfecho... Dewalt es Dewalt Super Recomendable. Calidad y la mochila esta muy buena. De alta Calidad.... Pronto lo pondré a prueba Y ya comento más.... Pero tan solo ser Dewalt es calidad pura... Industrial.

Lo único q si se compra desde México se tarda me llego después de un mes y siete días poco tardado pero es una herramienta muuuy buena quite las tuercas de mi ford 81 sin ningún problema ni esfuerzo con el número 1 de potencia lo recomiendo sin problemas no te arrepentirás si la compas

Our son brought his over and changed tires to summer tires on 3 cars. The battery had still not run out of charge. So, I ordered one today and just got it. I'm sure we will be as pleased. This model is the one to get for sure.
