Wonderful item. It’s small enough so it does not take up much space, but big enough to read from a distance. I put in each room of the house, especially when I keep my heat low. Also gives me the humidity, which is great. Never found a better product.

Was fine until it stopped working four years later. Looks like it requires two batteries but instructions say just one. Confusing why there are two slots. Resetting is difficult and you need a small toothpick to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Do not recommend as changing the small batteries is a pain. Will get a different model that requires AAA.

I love the large display, the magnet and display stand on the back, that it shows both temp and humidity, and tracks high and low. Switching between Farenheit and Celsius requires a paperclip in a small hole in the back, as does resetting the high/low markers. The display alternates between temp and humidity every couple seconds with a cute face letting you know if things are in the optimal range. The readings are close approximations. I had two units from the same package next to each other, and the temps differed by 2-degrees and the humidity differed by 4%.

On the plus side, the displays agree on the temperature and the price per unit is certainly affordable. For me, the negative is the fact that the large numbers on the display switch between humidity (which I don't care about) and the temperature. So when you look at the display to determine the temperature you have to wait (about 5 seconds) for the display to show temperature. I don't recall the Amazon description mentioning that fact. If you are farther away the % and degree icon are small and hard to see. It the temp reading is close to the humidity, it's hard to determine which is being displayed.

I wanted a thermometer only. At least one that kept the screen constant. This one cycles back and forth. The instructions are written in "Chinese" English...ugh!
