I picked up two packs (four locks total) while traveling through California, and they turned out to be absolute lifesavers. I needed TSA locks quickly for a hard case to transport airsoft and pellet rifles back to Michigan. Local stores were charging about $17 per lock, so finding these at $14 for a two-pack was a huge win. Setup was straightforward: the instructions were clear, and all four locks worked perfectly right out of the box. No duds, no sticky mechanisms. A lot of detailed evaluations written about these which, influenced my buying these versus other similar travel wire loop locks. I used them recently on extended travel with backpack type travel bags and they were brilliant for daily use, super easy to use. Most importantly for my eyes when opening in dim light, the combination lines up on one of the edges so easy to quicky see the correct combination, and I liked the functionally of how you push the button to open (and to lock) They are sturdy locks, fit through my backpack zippers holes well. Clear directions are provided for how to change the combination, which is simple. I have used other similar wire loop locks that have functioned fine, but having the combination line-up on one of the edges instread of the face of the lock the way other locks tend to do is a very big plus.

Overall pleased with the product, came in a 2 pack so value was good and quality seems good. Easy to set up the new combination. My only concern is that because it has a long flexible closure, depending on where or how you hook it into your luggage it may leave a small opening. Probably too hard to steal anything from your luggage but if you’re afraid of anybody sneaking in something small, it’s not impossible. I guess you could reinforce and close tighter with a zip tie and just expect it to be cut if they actually want to inspect your luggage.

No wonder these were most recommended best sellers. These, SURE LOCK TSA Compatible Travel Luggage Locks, just work in every aspect of their advertised features. What I am looking for: 1) fit for and good locks for my current suit cases, 2) easy to set up new combination, 3) good pricing, and 4) bonus features, if any. And yeah, SURE LOCK checks all these boxes. First, do they fit? Yup. Got them in the mail, immediately checking to see if they fit through the zipper holes designed for locks. Yup, as expected, passed the test. (Well, as they should, this is the easy part. Next, how easy is it to change the default pass code to my own. And the answer? Quite easy. You just need a letter opener (or maybe even a pen) to move a reset lever from left to right, spin the numbers to your desired new code, and swipe it back from right to left. No screwdriver or any other special tool needed. Fantastically easy. (Way easier than other brands.) Third, pricing! $15 for 2, so around $7 a lock. I mean, I would love for them to be cheaper, but these are quality products. Pass! Finally, I know these are TSA compatible. But I didn't know these locks even have a little red indicator feature that would pop out, letting you know if TSA has opened your lock with their special tool. (The red feature would reset once you open the lock with right combo.) This is a great bonus that I didn't even know about before purchasing! One of my best travel related purchases in a while. This actually felt like a SOLID product the moment I got to fiddle with it; it's meant to do what it's set out to do, and excels at it while doing it. Such a nice feeling when your buy is a good buy, and just works, ya know?

Most of these TSA luggage locks feel kinda cheap. Not like this model feels like a Medeco, so don’t get the wrong idea. But it appears decent and in the short time I’ve had two of these Sur Locks, the combinations were easily set. They have opened and closed dozens of times with no issue and got perfectly through my luggage zippers. They haven’t felt sloppy nor have they been flopping around whilst moving my bags. Hard not to like these. If they hold up with reasonable use these are a good buy. If these fail in some unreasonable method I will update this review. Recommended.

I am currently using more than a dozen of these and had absolutely no issues with them so far. Easy to set thanks to the small lever and easy to read thanks to the good quality dial. Feels very sturdy and stands moderate handling abuse. Will buy again if need more.
