1.5mm Diamond Drill Bit - 10 Pack (Made in USA)

I use these to drill holes in sea glass for jewelry making. I have used 5 of the set of 10 so far, and have averaged 20 pieces of glass drilled per bit. In my experience with a variety of different brands, this is a higher number of drilled pieces than I can usually complete with other brands. The holes are clean, with no "blow out" on the back side. The hole size (1.5mm) is perfect for the pinch bails I am using. It also easily accommodates 18 gauge wire for handmade bails. I'm thrilled to have found such a high quality bit at such a reasonable price! Shipping was also very fast - they arrived within 2 days.

These work perfectly for drilling fine holes in glass like jewelry or sun-catchers. What I do: hold the dremel at a 45 degree angle to the glass when I begin drilling, always keeping the glass under a thin layer of water. Once I've drilled for a few seconds, I straighten-up the dremel so the drill bit is perpendicular to the glass; then, I gently press down to puncture the glass.The price for these bits is great, and the neat little tube they come in helps me keep them organized with other small items. I'll definitely buy these again.

I used one of these drills to drill holes in Sea Glass to be used in necklaces and bracelets. This was the first time I used diamond drills and the first time I have attempted drilling glass. I use a dremel tool mounted on a dremel drill press stand and drill the glass under water. So far I have drilled about 20 holes and am still using the one drill. For my application the product worked flawlessly and easily, even for a beginner. I highly recommend this product.

These are the only diamond core bits I use . They don't heat up and burn out quickly like the other brands , and the quality shows in my work .

Don't last when using on stone.

Good little bits. I use these for sea glass. No bit lasts long so go with a mid-priced bit and buy a lot! This particular bit did a total of 15 pieces of antique white sea glass (the hardest to drill).

Flat drill bit doesn't drill through anything.

I searched the description and reviews to make sure it would fit my standard drill. Everyone said it worked great, that it works best on a drill press, no problems, so I assumed it must work. It doesn't fit. It is far too small. It doesn't even fit my neighbor's smaller drill. It would help to clearly state in the description what size drill this bit is meant for.
