Friction fit for best results
I recently bought several of these drains for a project. I couldn't find any installation instructions, so I reached out to Ferco directly to find out what type of glue / adhesive I should use (if any) to attach these drains to PVC pipe. The engineer, Don (who was very helpful) said that I should not use glue, especially PVC glue, because the drain is made of polyethylene which will not adhere to the PVC pipe. The drain is design for a friction fit into the pipe. Hope that helps.

Two similar units.
Good quality unit.My only concern is the grate gaps are too small.Pic shown with the other similar unit Amz sells 'NDS 970G 6-Inch by 6-Inch Square Grate with 4-Inch Adapter' which I prefer.This unit on the left.
